IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT AFTER I ADDRESS A FEW MESSAGES

Break-it I’m glad you found my suggestion helpful. Yeah you’re totally right, it is crowded LOL. But we always have room for more. It’s like the Room of Requirement from Harry Potter. Potentially infinite space. I remember all the faces that come by. Or in this case, names.. Anyway, I’m glad you’ve come to join! I’ll definitely be reading your next few chapters when they come out. But it might take a while since tips in dye sections take longer to come out. If you want you can migrate Son of Rockwell to an unoccupied creature section (SoR only has a few chapters or so so it shouldn’t be too hard). Anyway also if you don’t know already you can view tips a lot faster with the website method. It’s in Silver Dye but since it’s been shredded, I’ll just leave it here:

Go to a browser (Safari, Chrome, Firefox anything works)

Search up (D0d0dex) Stories and click on the link.

Filter messages by Newest

Refresh

Ta da! You can now view messages in real time.

PS: This only works for story sections on creatures, and not dyes as dyes do not have a story section.

Hope this helps!

MrGhostGamer, today was pretty inactive. Because the two most active writers, Ben and SunnyFox57 have slowed down in chapter production, the amount of messages sent also slow down because no one can talk about the recent chapters they released. Activity on here widely depends on the fanfiction that is released, since… what else is there to talk about, right? Although I do have a solution to that. Anyway since I’m getting back into the game I think the activity will increase.

OKAY. So, here’s the important announcement I was talking about:

My 5th grade teacher, one of the people who kickstarted my writing life, has graciously donated to me the “Draft Models”. What the heck’s that you ask? Oh, basically, it’s simple, really, basically the first paragraph or two starts off a story with a prompt. A character is introduced, and then a problem, and then you just write the rest. You can do whatever you want with it, it’s basically just a story starter and the good thing about them is that.. They’re pretty funny. And they’re actually fun (unlike other story starters I’ve seen). As long as the ending makes sense, then it’s limitless.

So here’s what I propose: Draft Model Thursdays (name still being workshopped)

Every Thursday, I’ll release the Draft Model in a designated story section here on the platform. With careful consideration, I’ve chosen the Dreadnoughtus. Why? First of all, it’s ASA exclusive, which means no mobile players. This means less traffic since like, 80% of this platform’s stories take place on Mobile. Not only that, but the Extinction DLC for ASA has a long way to go. That means even less traffic until then. It’s a genius plan, really. Even if people come by complaining… well, I have Plan B, and I’ll always archive the stories, which means they can never be lost if they’re ever wiped from the platform.

So then. What’s the deal? Well on Thursday, 2:00 PM PST, I’ll release a “Draft Model” onto Dreadnoughtus. Then, by Friday to Saturday you will release what you have written after the Draft Model onto the Dreadnoughtus section. Once the stories release, we can all give feedback on each others’ draft models. It’ll be great for improvisation.

And there are only a few rules for the draft models too:

No “it was all just a dream” ending.

You don’t have to make it ARK related.

No 18+ content (if it wasn’t obvious enough already)

No “script” stories (a script story is a story in which it is a script rather than a narrative)

Don’t go too crazy with the draft model please this is technically meant for 5th graders so please don’t go writing a whole chronicle of like 10 chapters that are each a few thousand words long.

Provide feedback, not bitter insults.

Please be as unbiased as possible during the voting stage.

After reading the stories, we will all cast our votes on which draft model we liked the most. Note: which one we liked the most, it doesn’t have to be the best. Additionally, I will not be eligible for voting because some of these draft models I already know and it wouldn’t be fair for me to participate. (I may still be posting my old stories anyway).

Anyway, it’s all meant for fun. I dunno about you but maybe some of us are getting sick of writing and working on the same story. Something new is always refreshing. So, what do you all think? Yay or nay?
