Will they be fully aquatic or amphibious? ( this is a concern for me because the tidepup is based on the axolotl and they are fully aquatic) i hope that they dont do the fully aquatic path to keep it useful but if they do they should at least make it slower on land to still keep a realistic amphibious feel to him

easiest way to tame a Tidepup is just to bring a small dino that you can safely injure a little, walk it over to the Tidepup, and let the little guy heal it. Every time it finishes healing your dino, you get a chunk of taming progress. Then you just wait for the Tidepup to chill for a bit, hurt your dino again (not too much), and repeat the process. It’s super low‑stress since the Tidepup doesn’t get aggressive or anything, so you can take your time and just cycle the heal → rest → heal loop until it’s yours.
