Xiphactinus are fast, powerful aquatic mounts that hunt in packs, carry smaller creatures, and can briefly traverse land, though they are vulnerable if stranded out of water. To tame one, lure it into shallow water, secure it with gates or billboards, carefully knock it out, and feed it Superior Kibble. When encountering them, avoid small mounts and close-range fights, as they can grab targets while packmates overwhelm them; use a strong mount and keep your distance.
