Origins of Salizar, Chapter 3 ~Scorned~
That night when Caesar was asleep Salizar picked the lock of his kennel, he flashed a glare at Caesar and jumped up to a air conditioning vent, ‘how could he betray me! For those humans no less!! Coward! We were like brothers! Well, not anymore, I swear I’ll get my revenge on the humans, and you…’ Salizar thought. He crawled through the vents until he reached the grate of Primalis’s room. The man was sitting on his bed his hand on his chin, trying to think of a way out. Salizar looked at his bedside table and saw a case full of antique throwing knives. ‘How beautiful! He won’t be needing them..’ Salizar thought. He quietly crawled out of the vent, he walked over to the bedside table and snatched the small case. KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK, “Doctor Primalis? We’re here for the apes.” A voice said. “Your early!” Primalis shouted, he stood up and turned around seeing the black ape, “Subject, get back to your kennel..” Primalis said calmly. “No!” Salizar said. “You speak?” Primalis said. Salizar opened the case and threw the knives at Primalis, he dropped and Salizar retrieved the knives, he hurried back to the vent. “Doctor? You alright?” A voice said. “Hey! Weren’t there supposed to be two chimps? This cage is empty!” Another voice said. “FIND IT!” The first voice said.
Salizar ran out of the facility, he was in a redwoods. he could hear the soldiers behind him, shooting guns and throwing spears. He climbed a nearby tree, and waited quietly. “Where did it go?” “I don’t know circ-” FOOMP “what was that?!” PHHEW “AHH-” “it’s throwing knives!” “I’ll get it!” Salizar heard a hissing sound, and then fire erupted from one of the soldiers, burning the shrubbery and torching the trees, the fire crawled up to Salizar and he had to jump, he threw knives at the other soldiers as he was in the air, and when he landed he was behind the torcher. He threw one at the soldier with the flamethrower, it hit the fuel tank and boiling oil sprayed out, hitting Salizar in the side of the face. “AHH-” he shouted. The soldier quickly turned around, “gotcha!” He said, he pulled the trigger and his back exploded. The burned corpse lay before Salizar, half of the skull was exposed.
Salizar left the scene, he had killed a battalion of soldiers, and won.
The next morning King Drake arrived with more soldiers to investigate. “My lord, one of the mesopithicus escaped, I tried to stop him but he took my father’s knives, hurts like the devil..” Primalis said clutching his bandaged arm. Two of the knives had hit his arm and the other his chest, just missing his heart. “Fool. What happened to my troops.” Drake questioned. “I don’t know I was on the floor clinging to life..” Primalis said, the pain making him bolder. “Sir, we found them. It’s not good.” A soldier said. King Drake followed the man out to the forest, and he saw the scene. “Two injured the rest dead.” The soldier said. “Where are the survivors?” Drake asked. The soldier led him to the survivors, one bandaged by the leg the other the stomach. “What happened..” Drake asked. “The chimp, he threw knives at us through the trees, we tried to stop him, but it all happened so fast.” The one with the leg injury said. “Rest up men. You’ll need your strength on the front lines.” Drake said. He walked back to the facility. He walked up to Primalis who was outside, “Primalis. I’m giving you one last chance.” Drake said. “I’ll do anything sire.” Primalis said. “Find your creation.” Drake said. “I didn’t create it sir.” Primalis said. “Then I’ll bring you one of the ones who did.” Drake said. “And the other mesopithicus?” Primalis said. “If the other is as deadly as that one, we train him. After all, he didn’t kill a battalion of my men and escape.” Drake said. “How.. gracious my lord.” Primalis said slightly annoyed.
Primalis walked back into the facility, he went up to Caesar’s cage and crouched down to look in, “your friend is dead, if you don’t want to end up like him you’ll do what we tell you. Understand?” Primalis said threateningly. Caesar nodded. Primalis smiled and stood up, “Good.”

Chapter 66b: Dungeon
BAM BAM BAM!
Gary started off by using his pistol to shoot at some of the spiders that were getting closer to them. They instantly shriveled up and died, but there were still quite a bit more descending on them. This fight wouldn’t be as easy as they expected.
“Gary, don’t waste your ammo just yet,” Skyler said, “What if you run out and we encounter some bigger threat?”
“Right…” Gary muttered.
A spider screeched and jumped onto Rick, and with a scream he backed away. The spider fell to the floor, and began to get back up. It bared its fangs and then shot a web out of its mouth. The web hit Rick in the face, and he tried his best to claw away and get it off of him. Skyler rushed in and swung her nunchucks at the beast, and as it made contact the beast spit out some concentrate of venom and blood. It collapsed to the ground and died.
“How many more of them are there? We can’t just keep fighting on like this!” Rick cried, as he managed to take the web off of his face. As one of the spiders shot another web at him, Rick swung at it with his knife, cutting it in half and falling to the ground like a deflated balloon.
Gary’s eyes darted around the room, and his eyes lit up in fear.
“There’s around twenty or so.”
“That means each of us have to take on at least seven,” Skyler calculated. Gary shut his eyes and gripped his pistol even tighter. His hands began to shake.
“I can’t fight them head-on. Even if I had a melee weapon, I don’t know how to use them! It never made sense to me,” Gary shouted. He aimed his gun at another spider, but as Skyler shot a look at him he lowered it.
“Come on, we HAVE to do this for the others! Otherwise they’ll be trapped on this island forever, we need to adapt accordingly!” Skyler screamed at Gary. Gary stood as still as a rock though.
One of the spiders took its opportunity with Skyler distracted. It rushed up behind Skyler and sunk its fangs into her leg. She let out a gasp, and fell onto one knee. Rick turned around as soon as Skyler cried out and inserted the knife into its body.
SHINK!
Blood spurted out onto Rick’s hand, and he retracted the blade and rushed over to help Skyler. Skyler began to murmur to herself and mumble random gibberish, and sweat began to accumulate on her forehead.
“Are you okay Skyler? Skyler!” Rick cried. He looked over at Gary, who had his head in his hands, “Get yourself together Gary, please! You’re the only one here with an actual useful implant attribute!”
A spider rushed at Gary and jumped at him, but he swiftly dodged out of the way instinctively. Rick let out a scream of fury and kicked the spider that had attacked Skyler away from her as hard as he could. Rick lay Skyler onto the soft mossy earth, and looked up at the horde of spiders incoming. There were still about nineteen left.
“Fine.”
“I’ll do it myself then.”
Rick readied his knife, and flipped it around in his hands. One of the spiders began walking up to him from behind, and as the knife landed in his left hand he turned around and shanked the spider right in the eyes. Another came at him from his right and he kicked it with his shoe as hard as he could. The shoe ripped at the sole and fell off onto the ground.
Gary looked on, speechless, as Rick began to fend off the rest of the horde with relative ease. Spider after spider came after Rick, and scream after scream Rick would swipe his knife or use his fists or legs to fend them off and give Skyler some breathing room.
Skyler didn’t seem too well though. Her breathing was getting raggedy, and her face was getting paler. Gary looked back up at the roof to see the artifact just out of reach. It would be impossible to get to, no matter how athletic one was.
“That artifact… that artifact could help Skyler!” Gary realized. He got his pistol, aimed at the artifact, and then pulled the trigger.
BAM!
The artifact flickered, and surprisingly, it fell from midair! Gary dropped his pistol and grabbed it in his hands. It still had a green pulse, luckily. The bullet had not ruined it. Gary quickly rushed over to Skyler and placed it onto her hands.
“Come on Skyler, get up! We need you!” Gary begged her.
Rick let out a blood-curdling scream as he inserted his knife into another spider’s abdomen.
“Please.”
Skyler’s eyes flickered open, a silver daze in them. Her implant glowed, and the artifact began to glow in unison. The artifact disintegrated into a million metal pieces and flew into Skyler’s implant. Skyler’s implant glowed, and her eyes shot open.
With haste, Skyler shot up from the ground and grabbed the pair of nunchucks. The last spider of the wave was approaching Rick, who was on both of his knees, and his head hanging low. His adrenaline had finally faded. Skyler threw the nunchucks as hard as he could, and with great marksmanship, it hit the spider right in the eye. The spider screeched and slowly backed away, rubbing at its eyes with its eight legs. Skyler ran up and afterwards plummeted her fist into the spider. Then, she raised her leg up and kicked it into the soft earth.
POW!
Green blood gushed out onto her shoe, and as the spider attempted to get up again, she slammed her foot into the spider again. And then again, and again, and again, until finally the spider didn’t get up.
The dungeon doors reopened, allowing them to freely exit with their prize: the artifact.
Skyler took a moment to stare at the spider that lay dead on the ground. Then, she collapsed onto her side.
“Skyler!” Gary cried. He rushed over to her side and quickly checked her pulse. She was alive. Gary let out a sigh of relief, and her chest heaved up and down. Skyler was still breathing.
A groan came from Rick. Gary looked over at him. His blonde hair was duller and coated in green blood, and he too was bleeding. He had a gash on his right hand and blood trickled from his lip softly.
“Why? Why didn’t you help?” Rick asked hopelessly, “Why…?”
Rick collapsed too, passed out from his overexertion. Gary looked at him solemnly. He got up from the ground, and he felt something moist coat his face. Tears. He wiped them away quickly, and put his pistol back on his belt. He quietly walked around and collected all the weapons for them, and then hauled the two of them on his back, and out of the cave.
“I’m sorry, you two,” Rick whispered as the daylight began to enter his eyes and the cave began to end, “I didn’t know how to fight them all at once. Forgive me. I promise it won’t be like that next time.”
The scales of Rick’s sarco skin shoulder plate shined under the sun as Rick walked along the rivers back to the Book Club’s camp. Rick looked at Skyler sadly.
“The others were so cold to you after you messed up at the obelisk. Was this how you felt when you failed them?” Gary asked her. He looked away.
Gary approached the Book Club camp, and as he did, he saw smoke and flames. He heard battle cries of people he didn’t recognize.
What was going on?
Went to cunning cave with high stat basilo. Came across a pack of these wannabe Sardines, about 20 of them at once. I didn't expect to see my basilo was completely surrounded and covered by these mauling sardines. They deleted my basilo within 1-2 minutes. Be aware of over spawns in cunning cave. Best of luck
Journey chapter 4 part two
Forest decided to tell everyone what the surprise was about and why he wanted to do it here. “You're probably wondering why we are here.” Forest said as he pulled his pack off his shoulders.
“Does it have anything to do with food?” Spark said showing her point to move forward with this surprise.
“Well, it has to do with this.” Forest said as he pulled out the rune.
“You’re not going to do anything stupid with that, are you?” Nyx asked, genuinely concerned.
“No, I just want to bury it and make a memorial here for the tool that helped save Fjordur. What did you think I going to do with it Nyx?”.
“Oh, Nothing just didn’t want you to make a decision you’ll regret.” Nyx said still sounding concerned about the fact.
“Anyway, I wanted you all to come here as all of the Five to come and be here for this momentous occasion. For as we put this rune in the ground, it signifies that we will hopefully never have to use it again.” Forest said as though he had been lifting a large weight off of everyone’s shoulders.
“Well for a good riddance speech, that one was pretty bad. Now can we please get to digging? I’d like to get as far away from Rust as possible and get to the terror bird kingdom before dusk sets in.” Crimson said getting agitated by the sight of Rust.
“I am starting to dig right now, would you like to help Crimson?” Forest said as he started to claw at the earth, “I’d be glad to help For-”
“I have a better idea.” Rust said as he quickly darted and grabbed the rune “Why don’t we just smash it on top of this thing in the middle of the platform?!”.
“I think we just got into stupid territory here” Spark said looking at Nyx. “That’s a terminal Rust and I think you should put the rune down gently on the ground!!” Nyx said trying to de-escalate the situation.
“Rust drop it or I’m gonna grab you and throw you into the lake with piranhas!!!” Crimson yelled angrily, “Rust, just throw it back to me and quit fooling around with it, I am almost done with the hole to put it in.” Forest said.
“Who’s fooling around!!! Let’s get rid of this thing once and for all!!!!” Rust said holding the rune over the main terminal, the rune glowing brighter than it had in a long time and was humming with volume.
Forest was beginning to have enough of this, “Rust!!! Hand it Here!!! That is a really bad idea!!!” Forest Yelled. “Fine, you all can’t take a joke.”
Everyone except Rust sighed in relief for a second, “That was the craziest thing you’ve ever pulled Rust, just hand it to Forest, and let’s be done with that idea.” Crimson said.
Rust began to smirk and looked at Crimson in a way that made everyone concerned. “Rust, hand it to me please” Forest asked. “Who’s joking??” Rust said humorously and jumped up and threw the rune toward the terminal.
“Rust, YOU DODO BRAIN!!!!!!!!!” yelled Crimson “NOOO!!!!!!!!!” Yelled Nyx.
She bolted for the rune which was glowing even brighter and humming even louder than it had only a few seconds before, and Nyx reached for it and touched it as it hit the terminal. Forest couldn’t see anything after that except bright white light and a mixture of rainbow light.
Saw a 150 out between blue ob and redwoods
Peppered it with tranquil arrows and it led me on a merry chase.
Had to stand on the back of my wyvern and try not to knock my own tame out and managed to chase it to shallower water and dropped it.
One of the more entertaining taming attempts for sure
Journey: Chapter 4 part one
Forest was gliding through the Vennaland valley and kept hearing cheers and claps as he went over the small camps, tribes, or villages of creatures. It was so different now. Just that everyone was happier and less fearful than before, creatures were more friendly since Jethezzar.
He was getting closer to the obelisk and could see the terminal at the bottom, and also Spark. She roared in excitement as she saw him flying towards her.
“Hey Forest!!!!” She yelled running back towards the ramp. Forest landed and ran to her.
“Hey Spark!!!!” Forest yelled as he was running. “How are you? It’s been a while since I’ve seen you, you germaphobe hermit!!!” Spark said enthusiastically, “Yeah, it’s been at least 2 months since I‘ve seen you. I am doing good, how are you? Have found any sign of Basil?” Forest said ignoring the humerus remark.
Spark sighed, “Not going too well, I have been all over Fjordur. I might need help looking in them in a week or so. But I’m not sure how long I can do this for.” Forest's face went long and he went and hugged her, he felt bad for her and wanted to help her.
“Well, I’ll help you if you need it. I’m always up for adventure!” He said. Spark smiled at the sound of that. “Thanks Forest! I’ll need it.” Spark said.
They walked up to the obelisk and waited there for a few minutes before Spark asked “Did you see anyone while you were up there?” Forest looked at her, “No I didn’t, I was about to ask you th-”.
Forest said before he noticed something. Paw prints, they were very fresh and were made by a juvenile feline. “What were you saying Forest?”, Forest quickly put his talon in front of his mouth. Then with a shout, he yelled “Nyx? Where are you?!”.
Forest as soon as he said that felt something or someone hit his back and he began for a nose dive into the dirt. Then he heard laughter and screams as Spark was rolling on the ground and Nyx on her back as they began to playfully fighting on the ground.
“Good to see you Nyx!! How long were you there?” Forest said, “Yeah Nyx, how long have you been here for?” Spark said. Nyx got off the ground and shook the dirt off of her, “About an hour before Spark walked up the ramp. I sat here until Spark came, then I cloaked myself and waited until you would show up. How did you know I was here Forest?”.
“Your footprints are in the soft dirt here” Forest pointed at the prints he saw. “Dang, I thought I had it all planned!!” Nyx said before she started laughing.
They waited there for an hour before Crimson showed and Rust showed up an hour after that.
