If your baby wants wyvern milk when taming just put bison milk in last slot and it will take it. No need to go and get wyvern milk

Didn’t really know what category to put this in but oh well.

There are four main variants of Wyverns, Fire, Poison, Lightning and Ice.

Fire is close ranged, good burst and DOT damage.

Poison has the longest range, and can deal massive damage to riders.

Lightning is generally considered the best wyvern, good damage.

Ice is generally considered the worst wyvern, low damage but very heavy slowing.

Large bear traps do affect Wyverns!!!!!!! Learnt this the hard way when trying to trap a yuty with our tamed Wyverns and got caught in the trap regardless of what ark wiki says. R.I.P. Exodus. 😢

Poison Wyvern: Great for PVP because it can kill the rider off a creatures back if they aren’t careful. WARNING: the poison spit, even if the wyvern belongs to you, the AoE CAN KILL YOU without a gas mask or hazard mask.

Fire Wyvern: Great for getting more eggs as their immune to other fire wyverns (others are immune to your fire too) allowing your wyvern to just melee bite them. This includes alphas!

Lightning wyvern: Great for PVP and Bosses. Their lightning breath can deal torpor, (and a lot too) and has a horrifying DbT (damage by tick) making it very capable to shred bosses in numbers and other tames. However, if you or a tame gets in the way, the breath can also hurt them, so it is best to also invest in health.

Is it rare to get a two colored eye wyvern? I just got a poison wyvern who's left eye is green with a black pupil but the right is black with a green pupil. Plz answer this, it would really be helpful to know!

Killing an alpha fire Wyvern is also another way to get milk. When killed they have 50 milk in their inventory and a nice trophy to mount on your wall. Alpha wyverns will always be fire and they place a sick looking Wyvern glove skin in your inventory when killed.

ASA - Bison milk lasts 4 days in an ice wyverns inventory. Just leave a couple in it's inventory and you're good to go.

Ice wyverns refrigerate anything in their inventory btw

Tamed Wyverns are immune to special attacks from wild Wyverns from the same type of wyvern.

Tamed lightning is immune to wild lightning

Tamed fire is immune to wild fire

Tamed poison is immune to wild poison

Don’t you think if you kill something with the fire wyverns flame attack you should get cooked meat from it?

Store bison milk in ice wyvern. Spoil timer is 3/4 days. Add preserving salt and timer goes up to 8 days.

Why does everyone say poison wyvern are bad… I love poison wyvern…

Wyverns come in seven different types. The crystal ones aren’t listed here because of word limit. The fire (short range breath attack that sets creatures on fire and does % based DMG.), the ice (also short range breath attack that applies a slow to everything it hits.), poison (spitball attack that applies a straight up amount of DMG when it hits, depending on the melee stat of the wyvern, and leaves a gas cloud that does a tick of 10 DMG no matter what. The attack is long range and travels slowly, but is easy enough to aim when it doesn’t glitch and fly off in random directions.), and the lightning (long range, easy to aim attack that does straight up tick DMG, with no linger affect). All four of the wyverns listed above spawn on ragnarok. All but the ice spawn on scorched earth. And the ice and the fire both spawn on valguero. Corrupted fire wyverns spawn in extinction, but you can’t tame (steal an egg from) them. The occasional wyvern also spawns in the gauntlet missions on genesis.
