I noticed Dododex recommended “ideal temperature” when hatching Wyvern eggs is inflated! I believe it says 176-194 •F. I’m using 7 A/C units and the temperature is 94 •F

Single player uses:

1. Travel mount: Wyvern are very fast in the air, although their speed has slowly become irrelevant with the addition of even faster and more efficient travel mounts such as the bloodstalker and tropeognathus.

2. Wyvern killer/nest raider: Of course Wyverns can kill other Wyvern, just be careful not to get overwhelmed by a swarm.

3. Giga killer: Wyverns can easily kill gigas from a safe distance due to their ability to fly and ranged attacks.

4. Boss fight dino: Being the most powerful flyer, wyverns are often your best option in any boss arena that allows you to use flyers, although they might be outclassed by Tropeognathus in the desert titan fight.

5. Dino carryer: Like the quetzal, wyverns can carry fairly large dinos and drop them into pens for taming, although the task is a bit more tedious due to the wyvern's shifty turning radius.

Never ever raz a wyvern in a mini biomes in fjord

Only corrupted wyverns spawn on extinction. They do not lay eggs and cannot be tamed, so dont go there for them.

Use a maewing to raise. I mean, use maewings for all babies, but I'm pretty sure that you won't need wyvern milk. Same with rock drakes. I managed to grow 2 wyverns with a maewing, taking them both on adventures around the map.

1. Find cave

2.charge your stamina on your mount (you NEED IT)

3.make sure not too many wyvern

4.steal first egg you see

5.GeT tHe FlIpPn FLiP oUt oF tHeRe

6.build toasty warm spot

7.place egg

8.hatches....

9.feed what it wants (to feed molk you need to knock out and collect wyvern molk)

10.succsess

The best way to level up a Giga on Rag is to get a bunch of wyverns to follow you on your griffin/ptera, then dismount you’re flyer above the Giga, then get on your Giga and absolutely destroy them. This got my Giga 26 levels from 3 wyverns.

Make a zeppelin and build a box on top of it. Next get a oviraptor on follow just behind you inside said box. Fly over to a nest and land on the nest and stop driving the zeppelin. Turn around and take egg from oviraptor without aggroing wyverns then fly and repeat.

Wyverns may occasionally still aggro but they don't stop after awhile your zeppelin can take the hits and hopefully get close to wild dinos to get wyvern to aggro on them.

Aside from that only risk is if oviraptor clips through zeppelin if not careful.

I was able to hatch a wyvern egg with 8 AC units and 7 standing torches just for anyone looking for how much you need

If you are on ragnarok you can get wyvern milk easily from ice wyverns they are easier to knokout than the other wyverns

If you go to fjordur tame a hawk put it on your shoulder and nab the egg eat polymer and youl have a wyvern I got this from syntac credit to him go sub now to him good luck and have fun

Use a oviraptor to extract the wyvern egg and grab it from the oviraptor this will stop the mother from attacking as long as you dont run into her

Just managed to get an ice wyvern egg on valguero using a Deinonychus, it worked pretty well, I got a lvl 83 ice wyvern egg, if you do it on a deino then stay low and if you see wyverns, try to back away and make sure they don't see you. Kill off any bugs that try to kill you and climb the walls to get into the crevices that have the eggs in, and DIP, run outta there as fast as possible when you get an egg, the best crevice to go for on a deino is the one that's closest, for me that was the one bear the fire wyvern cave enterance. Good luck guys!

Wyverns are not that hard to get if you know what your doing. Get a fast flying dino, location the wyvern trench/cave, if there are not a lot of wild wyverns go and steal the egg, than fly as fast as you can out of the trench or cave and fly close to the ground to try and get the wild wyvern's agro on something else

I think there should be a Nightmare Wyvern who only appears in the Night and is like a Giga. You have to feed it trophy items, since trophy items are only used for boss fights. Does anybody else agree?

If you don’t want to go through the trouble of getting Wyvern milk then follow these steps

1. Get a Wyvern egg and start the hatching process

2. Get a Daeodon and loads of meat

3. When the Wyvern egg hatches activate passive healing on the Daeodon and give the Daeodon meat

4. When you go offline put the baby Wyvern in a cryopod

5. When you get the Wyvern back out activate passive healing on the Daeodon and make sure that your Daeodon gets lots of meat

6. There is no six

Just buy the rag dlc and tame it there, I don’t care how much you like scorched earth on rag there are better levels and more kinds of wyverns. I recommend getting a ice wyvern first as they are the easiest wyvern to get. That is because they are the weakest, not only that but they also have spawns that can be out of the trench or far away from the trench from what I last remember. You can use an ice wyvern to get higher levels and get other wyverns.
