You can knock it out but it won’t help you need to feed it griffin kibble and if your mobile get a fertile griffin egg and make kibble and with griffins the last 2 Sylables need to be the same in order to get fertilized griffin egg

I whish that thay ate crops on mobile please make it to where thay can eat crops and berry's

It can only eat griffin kibble on the mobile version

The first one i found was a max level, 150.I put it into my base and grinded to get griffins for their kibble but the max unicorn despawned, i only got one griffin kibble so close 😢

It says "quick and easy taming", because obviously it's super easy to find a creature that only spawns one at a time on the entirr map. Well done Wildcard.

I tamed two of these but sadly low levels,4 and 26 but luckily they were the opposite gender so I mated them, and they had a baby and thankfully they don’t take forever to be born and the female doesn’t take forever to be able to mate again but anyways you can ride the baby unicorn😭 or at least on mobile, it allowed me to ride the unicorn

You can tame them with rockaroots on mobile. I just tamed it on ARK: Ultimate mobile edition or whatever it's called. (ver 1.0b20)

You can spawn in a tamed unicorn using this command

- gamsummon “equus_character_BP_unicorn_C” 100

The 100 is the lvl it will be spawned at you can change that.

we all know that unicorn can’t eat carrots in mobile and we must have griffin kibble. We can also pick it up with argy. The thing is it won’t despawn if u give it a soothing balm. HOWEVER DONT GO INTO CAVES. When you go into a cave, spawns resets. I gave it a 10x soothing balm and then it despawned with it.

To the person who said griffins don’t lay eggs, griffins do lay eggs, but only fertilized eggs, so you need to breed griffins to get a fertilized egg to make the kibble to tame a unicorn

In Ark Mobile, the tame requires griffin kibble. This makes it an end-game creature. Why? Because Griffins need traps, and you need their respect to tame them. But why can't you just look around for their eggs in the wild? It's because Griffins do NOT lay eggs in the wild, and must be bred, or probably tamed to lay eggs. Griffin Kibble also requires some ingredients that need to be bought from the shop. I suggest a soothing balm, because it will make the taming faster. They use the exact same saddle as Equus, so if you are new to Ark, do not be fooled. Unicorns are more endgame than you think. Do not try putting it in the pen at levels that do not suit the requirements for taming a griffin. The Unicorn will simply starve after Ark weeks of being in the pen. I do indeed know this because I trapped one for a long time, and it disappeared. This is because of starvation. This also happened with a Ovira I did not plan to tame. Mysteriously, it's health was dropping, so I tranqed it. I saw it had no food. That was why it was dieing. It died after that, due to no food. So, if you are not a good level like level 80-70 you should probably not trap it. Once tamed, when you jump, it will make a mini-rainbow. If this was helpful, you know what to do. I recommend a pen to tame it too. Here are the things you should need to tame it: A taming pen(recommended), soothing balm(Also recommended), and of course, Griffin Kibble. Have fun with your unicorn. And do note, unlike Equus, these cannot be tamed with any other herbivore taming foods like vegetables/berries. So they can ONLY be tamed with griffin kibble on Mobile.

Just found one at the base of winters mouth on the SW side. Couldn’t believe my eyes! Went and got rockaroot as that was all I had, snuck up behind it with the rockaroot in the last item slot to feed it, aaaaand my guy ended up punching it…. It ran away and I couldn’t find the magical beast after an hour.

Passive tame,only want griffin kibble (mobile), if you by chance find it, build a pen until you have the kibble, DON’T TRY to enter any cave until you tame it, as it can be gone from your pen after you come out from any cave.It HAPPENS to me 3 times.sad.

So on the Island map playing Ascended Ark I headed out toward Herbie Island on a raft filled with some taming supplies to tame a pteranodon and hopefully a decent level ankhy. I first saw it initially when I arrived and thought, "well damn, I've never seen an equus spawn on Herbie Island," then I spy glassed it and found it out to be a 140 male Unicorn!!! Marking this as my second time seeing one of these beauties since Survival Evolved. The first I still remember being a level 25 and even debated taming it.(I didn't since a baryonyx killed it shortly after.) Forgot about taming a pteranodon for a hot second gathered my carrots from the raft and engaged. First time was unsuccessful, so I knocked it out and waited for it wake up. Next time I had success since it didn't randomly buck me off even though I gave it it's first feed for some odd reason, tamed and named it "Kalibas" after the guy that killed all the unicorns on Clash of the titans. I only mention all of this because out of all the hours I've put in the game I've never seen one spawn at Herbie Island, what's more anything else I would class as exotic or useful. So for all ark players DO NOT forget to check Herbie Island if you're in the market for a unicorn. By far the best place to find and tame one.

Unicorns (on ark mobile) are almost exclusively found north of the volcano at the base. You will need a argy or a quetz to pick them up (because it’s a dangerous place to tame them) and the only thing you can feed them is griffin kibble. With a 3x soothing balm you will need 2-3 griffin kibbles. With a 10x soothing balm you will need 2 griffin kibbles. With a 15x soothing balm you will only need 1 griffin kibble. Make sure to wear gillie armor so you don’t enrage or spook them. (If you are having trouble figuring out how to get griffin kibble, you need a male and a female, However, their names have to rhyme. Example: alaELL lantirELL, SKYnor SKYlan.) female griffins do not lay eggs naturally. You have to use fertilized eggs to make kibble.

Ok so before I start i play on mobile, and i had just found one of these pretty things near the beach its a lvl 4 but I was just so excited that I even found one and wasted my amber (45) to get soothing balm to take it, turns out they can't eat crops. I tried to give it berries but it doesn't work, im so mad rn.

I’m pretty sure only 1 spawns on the island so it’s very rare to find one.

How to tame: its like taming an equus.

For people who don’t know how to tame equus/unicorn

You could use any types of berries, rockarrots, troodon egg kibble, veggies, or a sweet veggie cake.

Idk how much food it needs so probably make more than 10.

You need to give the equus/unicorn the food it eats than ride it before it go’s all over the place. If it tries to kick you that’s when you feed it again. If your to late you could get hurt, get injured, or DIE depending on your lvl stats you put on health. After that it should be tamed. The equus/unicorn can be rode without a saddle but it’s prob better to put a saddle on. And yeah :D it’s finished!

If u find one of these things considered yourself lucky (Make sure to trap and make 2 Griffen kibble not 1) Superfertlized Egg Is what I used
