I’m pretty sure only 1 spawns on the island so it’s very rare to find one.

How to tame: its like taming an equus.

For people who don’t know how to tame equus/unicorn

You could use any types of berries, rockarrots, troodon egg kibble, veggies, or a sweet veggie cake.

Idk how much food it needs so probably make more than 10.

You need to give the equus/unicorn the food it eats than ride it before it go’s all over the place. If it tries to kick you that’s when you feed it again. If your to late you could get hurt, get injured, or DIE depending on your lvl stats you put on health. After that it should be tamed. The equus/unicorn can be rode without a saddle but it’s prob better to put a saddle on. And yeah :D it’s finished!

If u find one of these things considered yourself lucky (Make sure to trap and make 2 Griffen kibble not 1) Superfertlized Egg Is what I used

Player two was trying to tame one and when she jumped on the unicorn she fed it seven rock carrots

And then it knocked her out and now we can’t find the unicorn if you know what happened please tell us where we went wrong.

I heard that Royal griffin is the hardest to tame in mobile. Not so! THIS is the hardest to tame: because you must tame two compatible griffins first, breed them possibly more than once, make kibble, and THEN tame the unicorn.

Do not tame inside of spike fences or you will lose your precious tame and your life, as I found out. Simply place some carrots in the last item of your hot bar, feed it one and hop on right after. Have fun traveling where it wants.

One on my quetzal I found it while looking for high level megatheriums and yutys and I found this guy and killed it because I was on a killing spree. So lesson is if something looks different,look at it before you kill it

Unicorns in the mobile version of ark will only eat griffin kibble.

Even though the current version of ark I’m playing will be gone soon, I still think that its total bs that I can only use griffin kibble on mobile

Ark Mobile Ultimate Edition, when I started taming this guy he just started to die... I knocked him out and it stopped but when I tried taming him again he just started dying and he didn't loose hunger. Like what? And then I got a 95 equus and he vanished in my trap. Like what the hell

If you are on xbox and are struggling to tame a unicorn, there is a bug at the moment preventing you from feeding it whilst riding it (because it's the same button to feed as it is to jump off) I found a work around but it requires a keyboard, I plugged my wireless keyboard in to my xbox and did the first feed with the controller but for every other feed whilst on the unicorn, I just pressed 'E' on my keyboard and it worked 👌🏻

My first singleplayer world and I found the unicorn and the titanosaur right next to each other at the edge of the Red Woods. The way I tamed mine was I put it in a wooden box with window walls and I went prone under the window and the next time the unicorn poked his head out, I was able to feed it without spooking. Having the Ghille Suit makes it much easier too.

I found on! In moble took forever to get griffen kibble, when i did i went to bed, but when i woke up i got on game and went to where unicorn was fenced…… it was gone😔😕

CONSOLE OR COMP:When you find the unicorn it’s better to have an argie. If you do, pick it up and place it in a drop trap which is most preferably 4 foundations in a square shape with doorframes on the outsides, If you don’t have a trap the unicorn is in it will most likely run into danger or kill itself. (it’s happened to me…) I reccomend to use rockcarrots or even kibble, but depending on your rates or level you can very well just use mejoberries which is what I had to use with my first unicorn, but if you don’t have an argie and you’d like to use a trap, I reccomend throwing a bola at the unicorn and quickly bulding a trap around it, leave render distance then come back. and start the taming

MOBILE:sadly mobile unicorns require griffin kibble to tame, obtaining griffin kibble means you have to tame 2 griffins with the same lastnames then breed them to make a fertilised egg, to then use that egg and cook it with ingrédients you need to PAY for. Once you have the kibble (either superior or normal) arrive to the unicorn (or if you killed the unicorn to get it’s implant, revive it but that costs a lot more money) and if you have an argie place it into a drop trap that’s 4 foundations placed into a square position with doorframes on the outsides. Or if you dant have an argie then bola it and place a trap surrounding it then leave render distance and return. If you have revived it then have a trap placed around it before you revive it!

Dont waste your time trying to get color mutations on these, they have no color regions and therefore impossible but at least theyre easy to find since theyre always white

use something that can pick it up and put it in a cage until so you know where it is. it help me a ton. up if helpful

You can use a argy or stronger flyer to carry this, GET IT TO A SAFE PLACE BEFORE TAMING IT. I LEARNT IT THE easy way actually.

I have a unicorn named Lumrang he's level 15 and not tamed by me at all lol instead I have a pen built for him. Hey if you can't tame it still can make it your pet!
