What can be they used for?

Farming fish meat, getting black pearls, produces oil like the sea sausage, and it’s strong enough to kill alpha tribes

They are passive tames with bald pearls but there’s a catch it needs to be grabbed onto one of your tames so you can feed it. (Mobile)

Go tame 1 or 2 turtles and bring them with u and make it go near the squid if it doesn't latch on make it attack it and then when it latches on (make sure black pearls are in last slot) feed it by going up to its mouth u have to swim up the tentacles. (I would recommend killing everything nearby that's hostile btw)

Tame it using stupid carbonemy

I encountered this goliath right near my base, i was exploring the sea with a newly tamed megalodon. I came over a large rock and there i saw it. Coming out, i was in shock and awe but then i was soon in fear for both my meg and myself. I raced back up to the surface with this thing right on my tail, I didn’t even bother to look back in fear that it would scoop me right up. Finally in the nick of time and stamina i made it into the shallows and i looked back to see the beast waving its tentacles begore disappearing into the sea. I knew i could not let such a monstrosity best me near my base so i went back and grabbed my rifles and crossbows and set out to lure it back into the shallows, i then unloaded magazine after magazine onto it, and then suddenly it sprayed its ink and i knew that the predator had become the prey. With my meg i hunted this beast down as it attempted to flee but it managed to beach itself and thus the demon had met its end.a word of advice DONT GO TOO DEEP

A decent sarco can tank the squid and since tlc sarcos spawn nearly everywhere it should be easy enough to get one let it tank feed swim up repeat enjoy your new squid

Try to ignore the tusoteuthis they can kill almost all of your tamed animals they usually get stuck in rocks so swim next to rocks or in tight gaps

Best way I found is to have a good spino with levels pumped into health (preferably at least 20k) and a good saddle if you can. You let the squid grab the spino, you wait a few seconds, then hop off feed it the pearls, make sure the spino is of follow and swim straight up. Just rinse and repeat until taned

Actually it's super easy to tame on crystal island just throw a turtle out in front of it tentacles and and feed it black pearls easy way to tame them.

@tofuna go to the deepest point to the west of herb island. Boom it’s there. Once you get it. Swim to the inlet of herb island then swim back and another has spawned back in

In ark mobile these do NOT have an ascension limit so one can use a high health/fast basi to lure one into a trap near shore or into herbie island cove. From there you can get out your AR and fill it with bullets.

Bro If you ever think you have killed everything near this huge Squidward you might be wrong cause I did kill everything around but the second I get off my mount boom like 3 dolphins go to attack me but they distract me then the squid broke my scuba tank and so the moral of the story is to ummm I don't know double check?

Very terrifying to tame cause you have to put yourself right in front of its beak while it has its way with your dino, but once you get it consider yourself master of the deep

Make sure you have a very tough and beefy swimmer for this one because tusoteuthis can drain your health and give you torpor like crazy! When it grabs your tame you will want to mount off the beefy tame and go to it’s beak and feed it the black pearls!

You'll have to get a ton of high health turtles and black pearls to tame this thing. Let it grab the turtle and swim up to its mouth with a stack of 16 black pearls (any more and You'll waste them) keep doing that till it's tamed.
