The Tuso can eat up to 50 of a stack at any one time, which only counts as a single consumption for the purposes of Taming Effectiveness - i.e. 50 Black Pearls at a time will get you a really high percentage of effectiveness (but 30 Cooked Prime isn't bad, either). Raw Prime doesn't stack so don't bother. The Tuso can also eat while below 90% of maximum health regardless of the Food value of the consumable (so ~3 minutes, and not the 20+ minutes that 1500 Food from 50 Pearls should take). Dododex's table is only accurate for 1-at-a-time feeding, which you shouldn't do unless on at least a 10x server.

I found a beached one on crystal Isles an it said βdoes not want to be tamed right nowβ up if you find this true,
Will not grab mosas in mobile!!!! Boost so people can see
Read this, it might help you:
1: The best place to encounter tuso is 90-91 lat and cover all longitude from red ob to the end of herb Island.
2: Don't solo search, make a party and cover full bottom of the map.
3: Don't search in shallow water and surface, go for mid and deep sea.
4: They need to grab your tame then only can they be tamed.(Take Carbonemys with health and speed pumped)
5: They take 50 black pearls per serving.
6: They only agro in deep sea.
7: Last and the most important, the server must be brutal or their chance of spawning is not that much. Put server to brutal and for one day atleast go killingspree in ocean to open spawn spots for tuso.
8: Pump only melee and health to tuso.

Tame turtles
Let it attach to turtles that you are riding
Swim up to its mouth and feed black Pearl's to tame

Tame with a turtle with 7k health, and be patient between feedings.
If you breed them, hatch in an enclosed pond that can defended (eggs cant be moved by hand).
After 10% maturity, they must be fed via a feeding trough or they will starve.

Use a gacha to produce tons of black pearls it's fast and less painfull then farming alphas
Donβt believe the comments saying you need 2 minimum tribe mates to tame this. It can be easily solo tamed i like to use two turtles one to sit on and one for bait. Let it grab the bait turtle then feed the tuso and jump back on your safe turtle and whistle the bait turtle back and just repeat.
You need two people, one for feeding the black pearls and the other to feed the turtle that is in the grasp of the Tusoteuthis, with sweet vegetable cake for the health and to feed it stimulates berries as well
Iβve feared the ark ocean for a while now and this just brings a inky cherry on top
