If you think right, you might even be able to tame this at a low level and easily. No wyverns needed and such. Just build a stone trap with a small dinosaur gate, and remember, pteranodons can carry troodons. Just pick one up and plop it right in. Then bring a carno in and knock you carno out (MAKE SURE HE’S NOT ON PASSIVE) and jump on it’s sleeping body. The troodon will attempt to bite you and will get your carno instead. Happy taming! ps this is ‘easy’ because carnos are really good for taming these suckers and carnos aren’t too hard to tame. No saddle needed.

Despite supposedly being one of the smartest creatures on the Ark, these things really don't know a baby wyvern sacrifice when they see it. A baby I tried literally bled out before the little mong realized what was going on.

The most efficient creature is hands down the Carno. Easy to tame and gives a third of the XP a Wyvern of similar level would give. Just be sure to weaken them beforehand because the night isn't long enough to watch a Troodon eat 3 lvl 200+ Carnos all the way through their 2,4k-4k HP.

Oh and start the tame as soon as the night falls, not sooner, not later.

If you want to tame these, you need a maximum sucurity prision. You need to throw in the equivalent of 20 dodos and they will be tamed. (Make sure that what you throw in is tamed, it won’t work if they aren’t)

To tame egger troodons, find a low level, trap, and feed it high level female deer. It only takes 2-4 at night, shoot the deer til they're barely alive, put them on aggressive and punch them into the trap. Female deer can't hurt the troodon. Also they're 20 minute kibble tames with 13 or less dimorph kibble for a 150, so it's not a huge loss. I tamed 4 troodons this way, since I breed deer I had the females to spare.

Don't recommend taming these as the only way to tame them is to let them kill your tame. A lvl 5 titanosaur will tame any lvl. Crazy huh?

They also got three a regular door way. Had two jump into the base with me. Not fun

These things are living nightmares! They run fast, they knock you out and then yoi get swarmed by over 5 of these horrors. Even though you can outrun them they can tranq from range.

You can use a pteradon to pick it up

Use paraceritheriums at night Tim it's almost an instant tame with a level 50 just put the paraceritherium on nutrial and knock it out the higher the level matters👍🏻🙂

If you are in an area with large groups of troodons it is recommended to carry stimulants to counter their high torpor damage.

This is for all Mobile users so please up because I had to figure it's taming myself and get past a certain problem everyone faces

Okay so listen up,make a small cage with Stone windows and the second layer just walls,you can crouch through the window frame,wear ghillie armor and crouch he won't detect you at all unless ur in his face,now get your tame and lower its health by unclaiming it, once its below 100 (careful not to kill it) claim it back put the saddle and walk it inside (DONT FORGET TO PUT IT AT NEUTRAL) now let the troodon lower its health and before it does the last 2 hits get off (you have to get off because if it kills ur tame while ur on it won't count it) you get off and the troodon will get the kill and get a taming bar,it's recommended at night because they tame faster

Now the easier way to do it,drop baby's in there because baby's won't fight back just make sure it's at neutral and don't worry about its tame bar it drops 0.1 every 1.5 seconds (remember you can crouch through the window frame)

The best way to tame is by having baby wyvern and gigs. I fed gigs to them 1 time but didn't go well
