Just went walking on the beach when I found this creature and wanted to kill it because I thought it was a weak creature so I walked up to it when it jumped at me and as soon as I killed it it’s two buddies came out and proceeded to knock me out and kill me.

So these little demons give me a story.... wandering around and I see the eyes so I drop my torch and whip out a shotgun... killed 2, to only have my remaining ammo stolen by a pegomastax during the encounter to get knocked out by 3,4... literally thugged by this gang... definately raising these little hellraisers

They Hate flamethrower varying degrees of usefulness

My friend and me along time ago encountered one in survival evolved I don't remember much of it but Ik it was a Troodon. Btw if you've never seen their ability before they have night vision

I was level 80 wearing Ghillie armor and I was knocked out by a level 15 Troodon. When I came to my ankylosaurus launched a little turd into the ocean and when I sought swimming back it became a midnight snack for a Megalodon.

How to tame:

1. Look for one of these guys

2. Put it in a taming pen

3. Look for a wyvern egg

4. Hatch wyvern

5. Put baby wyvern in taming pen during night time

6. Enjoy your new troodon

Always have your dinos on aggressive or neutral or else you'll be knocked out watching yourself being eaten alive (it's not fun)

The aggro on these guys is buggy so I have found feeding it babies to be a waste if time and mats. Trap it. Ride tame in on neutral. Hop off right before it dies. If using flyers do not pre damage them. The troodon bite drains stamina which will keep it from flying away when you jump off. Tame troodon 1 at a time.

When incountering a troodon it is best to just swing a sword at it or any melee weapon because they are to fast for most players.

Make a box of gates or foundations and on gate. Lure a troodon in and close the gate. Before step two you may need a bed so you can respawn if the troodon kills you. Wyvern babies are and instatame or you can use giga babies which are the next best thing but I cannot guarantee that it will instatame.

Low level players RUN your little asses off!beyond a certain level stick your flak armour on.slap up your fortitude and a descent level raptor that follows and attacks your target will make mince meat out of these little sods.

This animals are very horrible the only way to kill one is using a bola

You ever wanna see a troodon not aggro. Try taming it. What a pain in the ass

I’m a level 105 with full flak armour. I was taking a paraceratherium and I took on a troodon because I was hungry and needed meat. At the time I could only see the one but after a few seconds I was surrounded by at least three and got knocked out and killed before I knew it.

Fireflies? No, it’s just death. Slow, annoying death.

You must be willing to sacrifice a baby wyvern. If your server doesn't have a lot of night time, a lvl 140 wyvern should be enough to tame it during the day. You might want to use a shield
