A high level carno will kill these really easily

Use a trap to keep it in one location. Wait untill nightfall. Knock out your tame after setting it to nuetral and stand on it. The Troodon will hit it trying to attack you. To avoid getting knocked out, use a cheap Riot Shield. They bounce off.

Dont be a noob. If you see one in the day, kill it. If you see one at night, you’re already dead. What are you doing out at night anyway?

If you're having issues with them then grab a decent level scorpion. They aren't effected by the Troodon poison.

At night a troodon will not attack you when you hold a torch in your hand and if you fear you will get knicked out by one it is handy to carry a lesser curer on you as that will stop there torpor.

You can kill high level rex in dungeon but this one is most deadliest

Sparkpowder and stimberries to make stimulant and carry that in your hotbar at all times when walking on foot. In Ascended you can longer level movespeed so trying to escape is basically impossible. You gotta drink your coffee and hold your ground with a spear. Also be careful landing your Ptera in the forest with low stam, could get screwed by these guys.

If you want to escape these beasts, try to get on a rock while they’re on the side that they chase you from go on the opposite side and they will lose agro

Tame a few hyenadons and let the troodon kill them. Only takes 3 190ish hyenadons to tame 1 troodon. Good luck.

BTW tame at night or else it won't work

Build a hatching pen as you would a taming pen hatch a level 120 plus wyvern and let it sit in the pen then find a high level troodon and drop it in the pen I recommend hatching 2 wyverns but that is the best way of taming them
