I know one good way to escape a troodon that has bit you. If you are near or a river or any body of water run in it just enough so the troodons can't get you. Also make sure your head is above the water or you'll drown. I'm pretty sure this method works but don't hold me to it.

If you hatch one of these force feed it and have a lot of meat on hand

When hatching ensure you have heaps of meat ready, you have to force feed these suckers until their food stat sits above 80 without dropping.

Look out mark the troodons in ark aren't a walk in the park because they get stronger in the dark

I made the mistake of trying to tame one but your animals that you sacerfice have to be on netural :(

Do not fight a group they may be small but they can take out a Rex if they tried stay away from trodons

The tame with wyverne babies does not work. The troodon does not attack it, day and night

I personal won't get another as you can not carry of ride them i gave two 220 plus rexs for a 120 at night.they are good if your not in pvp for finding your bag etc

Troodons are nasty at night make you go night night with a little bite bite.

If you are in foot in the night always bring stimberries to prevent getting knocked out

Tame a pair of these little bastards with baby wyverns just put in a taming pen lower the wyverns health and stand on they wyvern and let it chomp on you breed thse guys amass an army of these and pegos and be the most feared purgers of the land

If you see a troodon... just walk away. Troodons shouldn't have been added to Ark

I didn't think that Troodons could fit through door frames but they actually can. It knocked me out but my monkey just through poop at it until it died. I was unconscious for about 5 minutes be aware of these little devils

So not only are they a pain in the ass when wild but yet a pain to tame too, who's idea was it to have boethia as a dino? Sacrifice your own tames to these things and grab them for yourself, sacrifice at night IN A TAMING PEN and set your dino to aggressive or neutral passive WILL NOT tame troodons. Dodos are best bet as they're easily tamed but they give little tame effectiveness and add about as much to the bar as meat does to Rex's. Still, dodos have a very small chance to kill the troodon so stick 10 dodos in a pen of 3 level 10 troodon a and they SHOULD tame.

You may also kill them with 200 melee or more with a pike

When breeding them, feed them cooked meat until they are full grown. They have issues with starving, especially in the baby stage and often need to be forced fed. Cooked meat satiates less hunger, and they eat slightly more often, keeping them alive.
