Feed it tames

They are really quick and when ive encountered them, they have been in packs of about 5 ish. Basically just a faster, larger compy.

Always be on a tame at night. It’ll soak up the torpor damage enough that when it goes down you can kill the trio don yourself. Thank goodness for Pacu the pachy!

I'm pretty sure none of the people writing these posts have ever tamed a Troodon. I say this because none of them have mentioned some of the awesome scouting skills of the creature. With that said, here's some things you should know. I tamed a level 15 a few minutes ago. To do it in one shot I fed it a level 100 crystal waveren on neutral. First I took the health down to about 50. Im on a pve server so I used a combination of jumping off cliffs and a nearby wild animal. Then I went to the troodon. And got it agroed attacking the wavren (had a buddy help). I watched the wavrens health until the last second and dismounted and the final bite and kill tamed the troodon. You cannot be sitting on the sacrifice and it must be in neutral. Just a bit before I attempted a level 55 troodon with a level 224 wavren with only a 88% tamed. Before I could get another wavren out of cryo to finish the tamed it lost all 88%. Good Luck!

You have to tame them at night and feed them creatures on neutral best way to do it:Baby rexes, baby wyverns, baby gigas or baby brontos

If you wanna tame one...sacrifice some of your tames and amber on mobile...(unsheathes ascendant sword)

Tame an big tame and stand on top of said tame

Tip you can see their eyes glow if you shake your head

Just find red or green obolisk and it will be there stopping transfers

If you play PVE, turn taming speed to 99. Then put berries into your last item slot and run into redwoods after a pegomosmax. Then sacrifice it to a troodon.

Exspect to be poisoned like a dilo

If you ever think you have spotted a pack of compys and you want to tame one, LOOK BEFORE YOU TAME! I almost died to a pack of these guys

It’s because of these little buggers that I always keep a stack of stimberries in my hotbar until I can start crafting stimulant when I switch to that. Death used to be inevitable. Now I have a good chance, even against a pack of three or four.

Have 2 high lvl gigas of the opposite gender. Breed them and hatch the baby’s in the pen if the baby’s are on nuteral if the Troodon kills one it tames

During the day they aren’t hyper aggressive unless you stare at them for too long so if they killed you previously you’ll have time to grab your items and run

I put 10 points in fortitude and I was able to get bit 5 or6 times put a lvl 20 without being knocked out and 5-6 bites from him was about 4 hires from my ascendant pike so he learned his leason

The biggest jerk in the ark kingdom. To add to the jerkiness of a wild troodon, you literally have to treat it like a cruel god in order to tame it. Screw this creature.

use high level moschops for taming, fairly cheap if you don't have access to things like wyverns.
