Be aware if you try to breed one of these, they occasionally won't eat the food in their inventory and need to be force fed. I have seen this in the juvy/adolescent stage as well so don't assume they will eat from the trough.
This is the ultimate combo. Pego, troodons and seagulls
If you want to loot a guy without leaving a trace , here is how you do it.
1: pego problems, send a squadron of pegos to pick pocket your target just to piss them off.
2: seagull stealing, next send your seagull fleet to steal their items while they are chasing the pegos. If you are lucky, the seagulls will take the item they are using or the ammunition for the item
3: troodon terror, lastly, so they don’t know what happened, send your troodons to put them to sleep with their venom attack, they won’t know what hit them and you will walk away with all of their loot, if you are feeling like they have more stuff on them, grab narcotics and put them to sleep even more, then search his body. And boom free loot for the minimal price of lost tames. Hope this helps you pick pocket the alpha tribe!
Ok, I see people saying, ‘tame a bunch and use them as guards!’ Or other scenarios where you ‘tame a bunch’. You do not tame these. They will kill you before you know they are there. Most of the time your tame will kill them because they have a small health pool, so people use, like, dodos. A level one troodon will need 2456 level 150 dodos
I recently played the play as dino mod as a Troodon, and I had a huge pack of Troodons. We were wreaking havock all over the south of the island, even killing a Theri at one point. However, do not tame them in the real game. It is not worth it. Sacrificing your tames just for a scouting dino isn't worth much. Maybe in a PVP setting, but I am a PVE player, making them worthless to me.
