If you want to knock the trike out with tranq arrows while it is chasing you, then aim at his legs not his head. His head is hard af. Also the same thing if u wanna kill it with arrows.

im new at this game but idk how but i tamed a baryonx i dont even have that saddle and i was going home happy and i saw a trike egg i want to get it cuz i have baryonx i thought he can kill it but no jellyfish and trike attacked my baryonx and died

Guys it’s easy no trap needed if you are taming a low level and are too lazy to build a trap just tame a level 3 or 5 it will be down with tranq arrows in like 10 secs or 20 if you don’t have strategy and it eats berry’s

In order to trap the triceratops, yo

u will want to gather these supplies.

1 Crossbow

20 Tranq Arrows

4 Wooden Foundations

8 Wooden Doorframes

2 Wooden Ramps

50 Mejo Berrys

These supplies will help you take triceratops that are level 1-100

If you want to tame triceratops that are higher than level 100, I would recommend using stone buildings!

To tame the triceratops, first find the trike of your desire, make sure there are not other triceratops around! Then around the trike, set up a simple trap, Starting with the 4 wooden foundations, make a square shape will all four of them. Next, with the 8 wooden doorframes, put them all around the square closing of the inside area. Finally, on the side closest to the trike, set up the two wooden ramps on the side of the square. Just like that you have made a simple trap!

After you have made the simple trap, stand on the ramps and shoot the trike with your crossbow and tranq arrow, make sure you try to aim for its body and not for its protected head. The trike will then agro on you, try to have it chase you up the ramp then go into the enclosed space. The trike should then fall into the trap where it will be trapped!

After this just keep hitting the triceratops body with tranq arrows until it goes unconscious. After this you have successfully knocked it out!

Next up is taming the knocked out trike. After you have knocked it out, carefully put the 50 Mejo Berrys in the trikes inventory. After this, you can leave and do a couple errands before returning. If for some reason the trikes torpor is getting low, you can feed is some narcotics. Narcotics are crafted from 5 Narco Berrys and 1 spoiled meat in the mortar and pestle.

After all of that, you are rewarded with a new, cute pet!

Remember not to attack the Triceratops when there are more of them around. Only attack lonely triceratops because you don't want to be attacked by the herd. Triceratops are an ideal shield to protect against large predators. If you want to tame one, attack the triceratops on level 1 using the tranq arrow, you will need 5 or 10.

How to tame:

Note: everyone thinks you need a trap, you do not. I did it, no trap needed.

1. Craft tranq arrows, a bow, and collect berries or take crops, narcoberries included

2. Find a trike and find a rock where it can’t get up

3. Shoot it with arrows until unconscious, about three

4. Put crops and/or berries and the narcoberries

5. Enjoy this addition to your pack of tames or as your first and/or only pet

The way i did it was by making a small pen, i put ramps on the outside of the pen and had the trike chase me over the pen and get stuck. Make sure you made a doorway before you chase it in so you can get out. Then climb on the ramp and keep shooting it with tranq arrows.

To knock out, you don’t need anything. You can just get a slingshot and get somewhere it can’t reach and that’s it…

For a low level you gotta need a bow make sure it doesn't have a pack beat it with a bow no need for some Arows u don't need em but it's for beginners so make sure that it's like lvl 3 or something hope it helps! Btw bows damage is 55

If you find a small cliff, you can tame a really high level with a slingshot... I tamed a level 80 with a slingshot

Do not shoot for their head their head has more armor then there body

you only need tranq arrows and narcotics if you're playing on easy, just circle around it and shoot the body. If there's another trike nearby, nevermind. Either kill it or wait for it to go away.

When tranking don't shoot its head it has more protection there u can't bola it soo maybe build a trap. If u shoot it the trikes near by will be chasing u too so craft extra tranks I shoot from on top of a rock, where a shield and dont stay in a cliff or in water cuz when they attack even when wearing a shield u will be pushed away he he he he

- Knock trikes our and tame them all

- Destory every living thing

In order to tame a trike use tranq arrows but for beginners use a slingshot so .step 1 shoot it .step 2 go on top of a rock or something then. Step 3 shoot it until it runs away then.step 4 club it down

Ok so the simplest way I know of is first make 8 tranq arrows and 3 narcotics separately use arrows to put it to sleep and feed it what ever kibble is highly recommended after a while the tame bar will go down that's where the spare narcotics come in use force feed it the narcotics and eventually u should get to tame

This thing is a fossil and a dangerous 1 for everybody

Get a bow with tranquilliser arrows around 30 for a 140 then hit it while running around in circles as it won’t hit you. If you used lots of arrows but isn’t torpor running, wait a bit as the tranq arrows are doing it’s thing and start to get knocked out. Hope this was useful. You can even do this with a slingshot
