If your lazy like me just climb to a rock and Make sure trike cant climb that rock then start Shooting trank arrows it will be start running but As he Will take some steps he get unconscious then use mejo berries (narcotic isn't must) my experience of lvl59

Very strong early-game dino. He can help you collect berry’s and thatch. To tame it it works best to either build a dino trap or stand on a big rock and just shoot it with trang arrows. It has a pretty powerfull charge attack and is just a cool dino overall.

They can definitely (and deftly) climb the rocks that I can climb.... just FYI.

When taming the Trike early game for berries stand on a ledge above it and use either a slingshot or tranq arrows to shot it in its body because the face takes significantly less torpor.

I trapped myself in a nice rock cove that was too small for the trike to fit through and sling shot it until I knocked it out. It worked pretty well!

Sup easy tame. Just make a stone trap 3x3 with 1 high walls and 2 wooden ramps. Get a flyer, mount flyer, hit it, and lead it into trap. Once it is in trap, just slingshot it WARNING: it will take about 100 rocks to tame 1! This also works for stego.

1. Get a slingshot

2. Find a Trike

3. Hit and run

4. Repeat step 3 until it falls

5. Use Berries to tame it

When knocking this out go cross the water they are slow there so keep on shooting it with a bow or crossbow with tranq arrows

To knock out a triceratops is not as hard as most people think. You don't have to have tranq arrows, a simple slingshot will do too. And if you're afraid of it hitting you whilst trying to KO it, try to get it stuck. Eventually it will even run away from you, as it is not able to hit you anymore!

So a tip to taming these guys is pretty simple.

1. Craft a bow/crossbow

2. Craft some narcotics and tranq arrows

3. Find one and gather about 100 berries

4. Climb a VERY tall rock

5. Shoot it. Try to get your shots on its back

6. When it is knocked out, put the berries and narcotics in it's inventory

7. Keep an eye an the torpor and only feed it narcotics if the torpor is low.

8. Equip a saddle and enjoy your new trike

All you need is the high ground (they can clime so choose your spot wisely) half a dozen tranq arrows (or more depending on the lvl) ana a butt load of berries!

P.S. use the starving technique!!!

If your stuck thinking about how to do the trap and realise that your trike can't get out when you tame it just tear down a wall or two then rebuild them so you can use that trap ones more

Trike Can not smash Stone Walls

Build wooden pillar with ladders and shoot any ranged torpor weapon at them, if they lose aggro you can get off the pillar and continue shooting at them until they go unconsious feed them berries and you got a tamed trike.

Get on a rock if you did not break rock and use a slingshot on the body or else that will be longer. Name your freind (cera for ideal) and take a saddle (dye it your fav color) and your trike and it,s ready to go!

How to tame a trike… the hard way.

First: find a wild trike. Don’t use a tamed one cuz this won’t work.

Second: go get mejoberries (LOTS).

Third: go grab a bonker weapon or a scorpion.

Fourth: make a WOODEN trap (not thatch).

Fifth: bonk it.

Sixth: lure it over and trap it.

Seventh: bonk it to sleep

Eighth: feed it the mejoberries

Ninth: protect until woken.

Final: name it something cool like Bull.

Tame a trike at start it will be high level once you are op

(Only multiplayer)

Get a friend, get them to distract the trike by clubbing them, then you get to clubbing the trike from behind, switch up a few times, then it’s knocked out!

For knock out the trike you have to run in circle and short him with your slingshot

The best way to tame these bad boys (or girls!) is to get on a high rock ,where it can’t reach you, then bust a couple stones at it with a slingshot. They make great early-game mounts and decent pack hunters.

Also:

-I recommend getting a parasaur first because, if the tame goes wrong, you can outrun it.

- Don’t hit it’s head, it only takes about 15% of damage.

- Don’t try to kill it without a mount; IT’ll SHRED YOU.
