Ok so the simplest way I know of is first make 8 tranq arrows and 3 narcotics separately use arrows to put it to sleep and feed it what ever kibble is highly recommended after a while the tame bar will go down that's where the spare narcotics come in use force feed it the narcotics and eventually u should get to tame

I just started the game but these things are very easy to tame. If you keep running in circles around them they find it very hard to hit you. Have a whole team of these and they make the game very easy, Slow but very easy

If your lazy like me just climb to a rock and Make sure trike cant climb that rock then start Shooting trank arrows it will be start running but As he Will take some steps he get unconscious then use mejo berries (narcotic isn't must) my experience of lvl59

They can definitely (and deftly) climb the rocks that I can climb.... just FYI.

When taming the Trike early game for berries stand on a ledge above it and use either a slingshot or tranq arrows to shot it in its body because the face takes significantly less torpor.

This thing is a fossil and a dangerous 1 for everybody

Very strong early-game dino. He can help you collect berry’s and thatch. To tame it it works best to either build a dino trap or stand on a big rock and just shoot it with trang arrows. It has a pretty powerfull charge attack and is just a cool dino overall.

Sup easy tame. Just make a stone trap 3x3 with 1 high walls and 2 wooden ramps. Get a flyer, mount flyer, hit it, and lead it into trap. Once it is in trap, just slingshot it WARNING: it will take about 100 rocks to tame 1! This also works for stego.

You need to use soothing balm to go faster and some mojos and don’t shoot at its head with tranks he has protection but just put it to sleep with a trank about 40 or so just in case and get high ground and make sure that you only see one because the rest will kill you

I trapped myself in a nice rock cove that was too small for the trike to fit through and sling shot it until I knocked it out. It worked pretty well!

1. Get a slingshot

2. Find a Trike

3. Hit and run

4. Repeat step 3 until it falls

5. Use Berries to tame it

To knock out a triceratops is not as hard as most people think. You don't have to have tranq arrows, a simple slingshot will do too. And if you're afraid of it hitting you whilst trying to KO it, try to get it stuck. Eventually it will even run away from you, as it is not able to hit you anymore!

So a tip to taming these guys is pretty simple.

1. Craft a bow/crossbow

2. Craft some narcotics and tranq arrows

3. Find one and gather about 100 berries

4. Climb a VERY tall rock

5. Shoot it. Try to get your shots on its back

6. When it is knocked out, put the berries and narcotics in it's inventory

7. Keep an eye an the torpor and only feed it narcotics if the torpor is low.

8. Equip a saddle and enjoy your new trike

This is Dinosaur Man’s Teriffic Triceratops Taming Guide for Teen-Level Tamers! (excuse that ridiculous name)

First up, you’ll want to find your triceratops.

After that, you’ll either want to find a cliff to shoot it from, or make a 2x2 trap for it. You could build the trap around it if you’re really fast, or make a ramp and make it follow you inside.

Trapped/targeted your trike? I’d recommend getting to level 21 to make tranq arrows, but if not, a crossbow or bow could work. You’d just need to shoot it a lot.

Knocked out? Give it a lot of Mejoberries, about 40-60 of them. If the pink bar gets low, give it a handful of Narcoberries.

Then just wait, and you’ll have your new Triceratops! Have fun with it!

Tame a trike at start it will be high level once you are op

When knocking this out go cross the water they are slow there so keep on shooting it with a bow or crossbow with tranq arrows

If your stuck thinking about how to do the trap and realise that your trike can't get out when you tame it just tear down a wall or two then rebuild them so you can use that trap ones more

The best way to tame these bad boys (or girls!) is to get on a high rock ,where it can’t reach you, then bust a couple stones at it with a slingshot. They make great early-game mounts and decent pack hunters.

Also:

-I recommend getting a parasaur first because, if the tame goes wrong, you can outrun it.

- Don’t hit it’s head, it only takes about 15% of damage.

- Don’t try to kill it without a mount; IT’ll SHRED YOU.

All you need is the high ground (they can clime so choose your spot wisely) half a dozen tranq arrows (or more depending on the lvl) ana a butt load of berries!
