Stories Tips

What are some stories about the triceratops? Memorable triceratops stories, wild encounters, and fan fiction.
A must-have early-game tame! Even having some wild ones near your base is really beneficial sometimes! On my single-player world, when I was still a total bob, there was a sarco living right next to my base on the Southern Islets. I, in my cloth armour with 200 health, was terrified to go anywhere ‘cause of it. So eventually I decided to try and tame it. After gathering the necessary materials, I went out to tame it, but what do I see? Two wild trikes finishing it off for me! I ended up taming one of those instead haha. Also got myself some sarco skin from it, so win-win!
So I was just getting metal when I accidentally hit a trike and there was to trikes there so I ran so hard I thought I was going to lose them but one was still chasing me so I accidentally ran into a other trike so chased me so I stopped running and started to fight with my pike I won the battle but the first one was still there and I couldn’t fight on foot so I ran to my trike to fight it and I used the knockback of my trike and out smarted the other trike
so yesterday, i started playing ARK again (i play on Mobile), and i today, i did really well. I got a wooden base, two dilos, two dodos, and three parasaurs. And when i was doing a Pursuit, i found a Trike egg. And i think everyone knows what i did next.(i ate the egg.) And i didn't know that the mother was there. So i got chased, and lost all my parasaurs, and one Dilo. I was chased non-stop. I kept on running, and when i looked back, IT'S STILL CHASING ME. And then when the music stopped, i was safe. So i repaired my gear, reclaimed my Dead dino's loot, and fixed everything up. And you must be asking "why didn't you fight back?" well that's because i don't have any metal gear, and if i fought back, i would die bc i lost almost 50% of my health (i lost that many health bc i got charged once or twice.) and if ur aksing how im doing in ARK, i am still alive, i am level 21, i have 67 metal ingots, i have 4 dilos, 2 dodos, and two parasaurs.now the Trikes are dying bc of my wooden spikes
I hope you want to hear a sad story....... I had two dilophosaurs on me and everything went to attack.. for some reason my female disappeared just like my moschops from starting and I had a male and female trike and I was waiting till I could tame a sarco first then this happened I’m so sad! I hope you have a great day good luck if you have anything different!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I type this in praise of my Triceratops, my faithful companion I have taken for now to name “Beat-to-Quarters”. We go to the Dead Island to hunt carnos and rexes and their alphas. Be it either, it is no problem for my trike. For he easily deals 5-6 times the damage of our latest alpha rex! Even if, as rare as they are, we found TWO alpha rexes, I am fairly confident that at full health, we could take down both relying on his significant knockback. The only real reason to fear anything up to an alpha rex is, while they’re dps may be inferior, their health pool is far greater. And their movement speed does compensate for his knockback. But with all that in mind, I know we can overcome. I salute you, Beat-to-Quarters! 🫡 I literally wouldn’t be able to go anywhere in-land without you. Much less ever hope to take on such beasts. Fiat lux 💫
Tales of Bigfoot Chapter 1
Most people think I am a monster or some sort of gorilla creature. They think I am an aggressive, carnivorous creature. Those who have met me however, realize that I am just a man trying to survive this island of which I have been trapped on for some unknown reason. I am Bigfoot, and this is the story of my great adventure.
I woke up on an uncharted beach. I didn’t know where I was or even who I was. But the strangest thing about this was the object that I found was embedded in my arm. While I was curious as to what the object was, I decided it was more important to focus on the matter at hand. I was on a beach with a dinosaur standing no more than twenty yards away from me. It was very frightening at first seeing a creature so large, but I quickly discovered it was no more than a friendly parasaur. Now what I didn’t discover so quickly as I would have wished to, was the dilophosaurus creeping up behind me. Before I knew it, I had been bit in the back by sharp teeth that were not willing to let go. I grabbed the creature that was only half my size and threw it off of me while quickly turning around to see what had dared to attack me. Dilophosauruses may be small, but must be handled skillfully if you are not properly prepared. Therefore, I decided it would be best if I ran away before the vicious creature tore me in two. I was lucky to be faster than it, and I was even luckier to find a small wooden shack built up on a nearby hill. It was getting late and cold, so I figured I should probably go and ask if I may stay for the night. After knocking on the door, I was greeted by a small yet friendly man known simply as Tiny. Tiny immediately let me in and gave me simple clothing while also telling me it is very shameful to walk around in my underpants. (What else was I supposed to do, given all that had happened in such a short period of time?) After sitting around a warm stone fireplace and munching on assorted berries for a short while, another man who appeared to be the leader of the group entered the shack with his pockets full of metal chunks and large shards of crystals. Quickly after seeing me, he pulled out a deadly shotgun and asked why an unwanted intruder had entered his base. Tiny immediately explained that he had found me cold and naked, and that he decided to give me “a head start” as he called it. I also replied, saying that I shall cause no trouble and would only like to stay for the night. The man with the shotgun agreed and warned me about if I tried to steal anything.
The next morning, I woke up way later than the other two, but was woken by Tiny telling me that Longinus wanted me.
“Who is Longimus?” I asked.
“Longimus is the leader. Who else would I be talking about?”
Since I didn’t want to get on Longimus’s bad side, I rushed to the main room quickly.
“If you are going to stay in my house, you may as well make yourself useful.” Said the tall, skinny one named Longimus.
“How?” I replied, “I don’t have anything that could be of any use to you.”
Just then, Longimus slid a crude, stone hatchet toward me on the other side of the table.
“Go cut down the trees nearby and leave the wood in the storage box near the fireplace.”
I grabbed the small axe and approached the door.
“Oh, and one more thing. Be careful of any raptors that may be outside.”
With this in mind, I set off to cut trees with my new tool. This proved very easy, and I very quickly filled the storage box with as much wood as it could hold, which was not very much. After this I decided that I should establish a means of defending myself, so I gathered more wood, some fiber, and a few pieces of flint to create a bow and thirty arrows. I felt I could take down anything with this hand-crafted bow, and yet I knew this was not the case. Then I noticed Longimus and Tiny riding a large Triceratops, so I decided to go see what they were up to.
“You can never have enough metal, Bigfoot.” Longimus told me.
“So, does that mean you are going to get more?”
Upon saying this, I got an intimidating glare from Longimus, almost as if he were telling me that it was obvious. I looked away, pretending not to notice and only asked that I might accompany them.
“You may, but you will have to walk. There is no more room on the Trike.”
I nodded to let him know I understood and followed at the side of the triceratops as we moved on deeper in the jungle.
In case you didn’t know, Bigfoot is the name of my survivor in Ark.
Tiny is my younger brother and Longimus is my older brother. This story I am writing is basically what I imagine it would be like if we went through every official map.

I was farming trilobites for Chitin and pearls but then I kill one and I hear battle music after it is dead, ahem let me setc the scene to make it dramatic ...
As the rain bucketed down on me a chilling tune fills the air, I look behind me as a trike is charging at me i try to evade but it slams into me sending me flying into a bronto'so leget *my helmet brakes* I pull out my crossbow and start sending tranks it's way it charges I try to dodge again but no luck it hits me *my trousers brake* I start sending more tranks I run across the island diving into the water desperatlyou trying to call for my spino but he is too far, another hit *my chest plate and my gloves brake* I send more shots it hits me again *my shoes brake* I now have no armour, I send one final shot and the trike goes down. I just ran I don't know why it took so many tranks but gosh it was scary
I had died due to piranhas (I’m lvl24) and I had 3 trikes and 2 carbonys and 2 more knocked out with food (4 carbys) and I didn’t have a bed at the moment… after I died multiple times bc of PIRANHAS I gave up and decided well I’ll just tp them to me… bad idea I lost two trikes
RIP Alberta and Alburt
Yesterday I was minding my own business but my idea of rlly wanting to tame a trike had to invade my brain and I had a special promo pike that dealt about 128 damage and a grey and red trike near me had 375(roughly) so I hit it TWICE and left the game so it wouldn’t attack cause when you leave all aggressive predators stop so after a few hits with a slingshot (in the legs about 5 times)and 2 tranq arrows to the butt and it was knocked out. I put more than 200 mejoberries and 35 narcotics (I used it about 4-5 times) it was tamed. I named it soul because it was grey and red.
A tip for all mobile players. Try playing hardcore hard mode. The 50% exp reduction is canceled and you have double harvesting. If you die, go back to your old save and just try again. All the drops will be ascendant from the artefacts to the pursuits. Also good because everything is not high level, just some.
