If you want to kill one of these things, say for hide, keratin, or meat, unlike Thanos, DON’T AIM FOR THE HEAD, it takes much less damage. If at all possible, try to strafe while shooting at it to get at its sides or get above it to hit its back

When being targeted by a trike, try to find a small gap in a mountain, or of you are in the plains, run around in circles. 😂 attacker will soon get bored and stop attacking

If you are a new player, try not to provoke them. I have ended up hitting trikes when using a hatchet or pickaxe on resources and ended up dead because of it. If you attack it, it will constantly try to make sure its head is facing you, preventing you from doing significant damage. It's best to use a bulky mount or tranq arrows to kill it, but if you are looking for keratin, try carbonemys instead. They are far easier to kill.

I saw a trike lay an egg so I picked up the egg and ran to my base (made of wood) where it destroyed my walls, so I just died to it and thought it would stop... IT KEPT ON GOING! And destroyed everything😭 TIP: Do NOT pick up the damn eggs!

Picking up the egg is always a good idea.

Tamed a lvl 135 and 145 today they got 300% melee when they finished taming and they can easily kill anything in there way!

Never steal an egg from a triceratops. When I did it killed me and murdered my dodo then destroyed my entire house.

Don’t run either get on to high ground and kill it or kys

Fun tip: A sarco, lvl 10, 70, 4, doesnt matter- is the same strength as a same lvl one. Both with full health, they will hit each other, and they both deal the final blow, killing them both. Saw this on a server, 1 trike vs 1 sarco, both died without any outside intervention.

I was walking until I saw a trike until I hit it and I forgot there was a trike near him and I runned and died over and over so I decided to realese my tames and 2v5 it we lost. My parasaur only survive Rip 4 tames:(

If you want to quickly grind xp then just get a slingshot and have a bunch of stones and then jump on a big boulder and shoot its body till it dies and remember to not get close to the edge of the rock or you'll get hit and go flying and probably die from the fall damage or be stunned and get turned into a fleshy pancake by a angry Trike

If you are using ranged or melee, be sure to be on the sides cuz the trike’s head is basically a shield to both.

A.k.a minimal damage is done to the front

(Be sure to bring a Dilo or 2 when fighting these, their poison lets u easily spin around the trikes.)

You ecsape it by swimming, get it stuck on trees or on rock same as you do to fight it

Just set a spike wall in front and there u go a dead trike

Get shotgun and fire at it's side it will kill it very fast

To the guy who says don't pick up a trike egg HE IS 1000% CORRECT don't even try teasing that thing one time I pick up a trike egg to see whose it was and the trike closest to me darted right for me so I put it down but he was still running right at me lucky for me it saved right before I grabbed the egg and then my device glitched and got me out of the game (sigh) I would have been killed if that didn't happed

If you ever want to tame a trike, pick up one of it's eggs and go to your base, they'll upgrade it for you! 🥰

Don’t take eggs without proper weaponry. Bows are the best ranged weapon for combat early on.

If you have some trikes already tamed and want to start hunting strikes, it's easier to take them down with fire arms.
