He is still mean to meh ( he kills you if you hit him or take his egg )

When being targeted by a trike, try to find a small gap in a mountain, or of you are in the plains, run around in circles. 😂 attacker will soon get bored and stop attacking

Get as soon as you get tranq arrows, it's so useful. Can take out raptors, carnos, terror birds, sarcos, titanoboas, insects, all the things that kill noobs quickly. Just put lots into stamina, some into mele, and spam that attack button.

Definitely a tame to get in early or Midgame Lvl 30-60. if you still haven't got any good stuff or strong companions to protect yourself then you should probably get a triceratops. This thing is a beast. A tanky killing machine. I was able to dominate the whole island than I can't before. When I got this beast, it carried my in-game progress, I leveled up faster because I can kill everything except those Spinos and other Stronger dinos. Your survival rate is higher with this beast on Medium difficulty island. The areas like Swamps and at the Large trees is a no problem for you. If you get a high level Of this guy like 70-100, dominate everything you want. Put alotta points in health and melee and Mount this bad boy and spam attacks on the dangerous monsters you encounter on some areas, you'll be safe. (Avoid Spino, Dire bear, Alpha Dinos, Etc.) Lastly, Don't be confident to who you charging at. (Up for newbies to see.)

Craft bow and tranq arrows (narcotic+arrow) about 8

Find a trike near accessible rocks (not too accessible)

Shoot, shoot, shoot until unconscious

Put berries, kibble, crops, or whatever else you can use for taming

Wait, and check inventory once in a while

The trike is a very good tame early game since it is better at gathering berries and thatch than a parasaur. From my experience, the stego isn't buffed on mobile (no plate modes), wich makes a trike more useful in my opinion. You also unlock its saddle at a really low level (16) so it's not difficult to get. They are quite tanky and powerful so it's a good bodyguard against raptors. Dilos don't aggro on it so you don't need to worry about those. I hope this tip was helpful and have a good day!

Trikes are a great harvesting mount for berries and thatch. They also have good attacks (which do knockback to smaller dinos.) My favorite attack is the charge attack. I use it to raid wood/thatch bases. Overall great mount!

If you are a new player, try not to provoke them. I have ended up hitting trikes when using a hatchet or pickaxe on resources and ended up dead because of it. If you attack it, it will constantly try to make sure its head is facing you, preventing you from doing significant damage. It's best to use a bulky mount or tranq arrows to kill it, but if you are looking for keratin, try carbonemys instead. They are far easier to kill.

When taming a triceratops, always have the high ground

I tranq one and was taming it... they really really like rock carrots so when taming them don’t forget them!!!

Picking up the egg is always a good idea.

The Trike is highly underrated. Although slow, it will allow you to journey to relatively dangerous areas early on. With good knock-back on its primary attack, it can knock raptors and theris back without taking a single hit. Just watch that Stamina! You can also kill rexes and take only a few hits.

Level up Stamina and/or melee on the Trike and you will have a great start to your new ARK game!

I like the idea of the trike spear but I think it should be called the trike glaive because the spear and pike have a more straight metal/flint tip but the trikes horn is curved and the glaive tip is more curved like the trikes horn so credits to the person who made the trike spear

I saw a trike lay an egg so I picked up the egg and ran to my base (made of wood) where it destroyed my walls, so I just died to it and thought it would stop... IT KEPT ON GOING! And destroyed everything😭 TIP: Do NOT pick up the damn eggs!

Tamed a lvl 135 and 145 today they got 300% melee when they finished taming and they can easily kill anything in there way!

find a level 20ish alone and shoot it with some tranq arrows, no trap needed if it's low level. only needs like 5 but pack extra in case you miss or hit its head. goes down in a few shots, don't shoot its head because the torpor your arrow does is reduced like crazy compared to the body. tames fairly quick, just shoot down dilos and the like before they aggro and kill it.

Good for soaking a few turrets on a small base,easy to tame and is an all round good mount

Never steal an egg from a triceratops. When I did it killed me and murdered my dodo then destroyed my entire house.

Well it took me 5 HOURS ,I managed to knock out a 180 trike without a TRAP ,I don’t know if you know how hard this is it is ridiculously hard

Tired of theris use this tame just keep nocking the theri away and it will kill the theri
