Hey! Five-Star General Fred saw the thing on the Rex and was very sad. So he will repay you guys with how to tame a triceratops!!! There’s no exceptions, so let’s go!

1) these bad boys are very dangerous. There are three variants you can tame: Normal, Tek, and X. Normal can be found pretty much on every map. Tek is only in G1 and is in the lunar the most dangerous biome ever. The X is also a G1 creature found only in the magma of G1 and Fjordur.

2) Lock your bad boy up!!! Do it in a 2x2\2x2 doorframe made out of stone! If wood he will break free! ⛓️‍💥 make a ramp for the dude to fall in your trap.

3) tranq it to death!!! Do not kill it!!! Save his life and KO him.

4) feed berries and 123… 💥 he’s yours!

E) u can use a large bear trap that will get it stuck. Look for a good level.

for tsming these you only need 4 thatch foundation and 8 doorways a bola and a club trap the trike and bola it so it doesn't move then start hitting it with the club until it's out

Easily the best starter tame all you need is a cliff and some tranq arrows . Lead the trike you want to tame to a cliff then make sure it can’t hit you put some tranq arrows into it when it starts running away it means it’s almost knocked out so when it is asleep feed some berries and you have a trike

A fantastic early game tame. If you can get up on a ledge and shoot tranq arrows into its butt, then tame it up with mejoberries, you'll have a buddy that's good at fighting, hauling, berry and thatch gathering, and just being an all around reliable steed. They get a buff against big Carnivores like rexes, so tame a few up (both sexes for mate boosting) and you'll be the king of the beach!

They're ok ig,I don't really tame them. Personally I prefer ya to tame a stego instead of these guys since stegos are overall just better in everything including stats wise,I even Personally would use parasaurolophus over trikes since paras are easier,collect barriers earlier in game in (level 10 for para level 16 for trike sadel) for narcotics gathering and then ya can switch the para with a stego later

For players that are trying to tame a trike, you should bola it first in the legs and use a slingshot and hit the head because it's 2x damage multiplier

Don’t Listen to The guys saying “dont aim for the head when u wanna tame” its actually better to hit the head for knocking out because the head takes less damage which gives more tame effectiveness and the head also gets torpor faster
