Stay away from the trike at all times when taming although if you get hit you should jump so you can get launched away from the trike unless you are on a cliff edge
If you have a raptor you can run and shoot it with tranqs it works as long you don't get trike stunned
Can a lvl 12 trike take on a spino?
Pls tell me because it’s getting closer.
The funny thing is I’m level 13 and I killed a CARNO with my para me and my pet dilo a turtle but I’m afraid of attacking a trike I did once with myself and a dodo and a dilo and I was yeeted in the water and as I swim back I see a meh underneath me and I just wait for my doom
This game is vary fun... i love it!
How2Tame #8: Triceratops
Welcome all, to How2Tame, where I, Zeta, teach everyone how to tame ARK's magnificent creatures... and now, Triceratops!
1. You'll need a club, possibly a chain bola, and lots of health. You will also need berries or soybean.
2. Target a Triceratops that is stuck in between trees, as this will be the most merciful to your health.
3. Hit it from behind many times until it becomes unconscious.
4. Now place berries or soybean into its inventory. Wait for it to finish eating, but if it starts to wake up before it is tamed, feed it Narxoberry fast!
5. Soon your Triceratops will be tamed! Name it and craft a saddle. Then romp through forests and tear up vegetation and trees for resources. Feel free to tear up small carnivores too!
I, Zeta, sincerely hope this helped. My tribemate Einiera has one of these, and they constantly gather resources with no difficulty. Be on the lookout for my next episode!

To tame this thing you need 30 stones and a slingshot
If you tamed one of this congrats this one is the most Op dinosaur in early game this one saved my life while walking in the forest and alpha raptor rush in and try to kill me lucky this guy save my ass and I level up quickly because we killed the alpha raptor I named this pet Cera I could not forget how he save my ass
Listen very carefully to what I'm about to say. These have a huge damage reduction on their head--about 50%. The application for this is twofold: first, never pump tranqs into their head, it will take about 50% more. When taming, get above and shoot for the back. Second, because the player is protected by their head while riding, they are actually quite good for mid level raiding. You can hide behind it while riding on top, either shooting rockets or dropping c4 (it's like a built in riot shield). Furthermore, they can tank auto turrets as well if not better than turtles simply because auto turrets always hit their damage reduction area! In short, if you are using turtles, you might want to consider a high level trike as an alternative.
I have found that the Triceratops/Trike prefers the tintoberries, my strategy for taming lvl 10< Trikes on a new charachter i usually grab around 40-100 tintoberries and 3 or 5 narcotics/10-25 narcoberries and i use the starve method for around 4 minutes before using a narcotic and putting the berries in!
The trikes are amazing for gathering a huge amount of narcoberries, i ride my Trike to the hills and keep hitting the bushes and then I access the Trikes inventory and grab what i want to keep and then press drop all items for the Trike.
If this helped then please give me a thumbs up!
