Taming these is kinda easy. All u need is a crossbow, a few dozen tranq arrows, and a ton of berries. Just shoot at it while u run, try to get behind, and look out for friends.

I Stood on top of a rock and shot the trike with trank arrows it couldn't hurt me it couldn't get to me on the rock so it was so easy to tame it, i suggest you try this if you dont have the resources to build a trap

Shoot it in the head 5-6 or more times in the head with Tranqu arrows and shove berries in its mouth and their you have it a perfect Dino to get berries and wood :D

For this dino,I believe it’s for early game also all u need is get in a rock it can’t climb hit em with slings if ur too poor or tranq arrows in the back and they would get knocked out,they are extremely useful they can gather a little bit of berries,a bit of wood,they can get a lot of thatch and a lot of fiber,they have good protection and they can help you kill other creatures to gather meat or hide,but make sure to level up their stamina

1. Find trike (alone)

2. Get a bunch of rocks(use an ax for mode rocks then other resources)

3. get slingshot shoot him.

4. RUN to an steep area.

5. Find a place to climb up the steep area

6. Shoot till he runs away.

7. Hit with club

I tamed my first trike by leading a titanaboa near it. Sense they do torpor to what ever they hit it hit the trike. The titanaboa got knocked out of existence by (bloody horror) my new trike

I love these so much for early game, so useful but stegosauruses are better in my opinion.

If you go on a rock high enough for them to not get you, you’ll be able to get yourself some of these amazing guys. It’s quite easy and I have like 8 of them to protect me.

So actually feed this lvl 9 trike a dodo kibble and tamed up right before my eyes, used few narcotics tho to keep her sleeping soundly key to keeping her taming for beginners... I saw her and said she’s mine, My new Trike Tracy 🤩

The trike is a good early tank, so I will show you a guide to the Triceratops! #1. The trike is found on most beaches, and sometimes come in duos. They are tanky, and have head protection, so shoot the body. They can also charge you, and stun you after they hit. #2. They have not too great stats when they are tamed, but they have okay health, damage, and weight. But their stamina and speed are bad, so level that up. You unlock the saddle at level 16, so not too far from the start. They have a standard melee attack, and the same charge. The charge also destroys trees in front of it. #3. All you need to do is knock it out, and feed it berries! Here are some ways to knock one out: Stand on a high rock where they can’t get to you, Trap them between rocks, or build a trap for them. Unsure if It Is present on PC but in Mobile you can charge a, Charge! It does good damage AND knockback. You can also use It to ram down tres AND get tons of tatch AND wood

These guys run when trying to tranq especially higher levels. So build a tamin pin. Also DO NOT fight anything uphill. It renders the knockback useless and you will get owned. Lost my 180 trike to 3 terror birds. The knock back is what makes this guy so great.
