You can easily knock them out by running then turning and shooting then repeat.

It's kind of like easy but it's more easy to tame it by using a long neck rifle and with a tranquilizer dart

I was standing there when he just came up at me he had low hp i was running but he kept head butting me and then i called my 6 Dinos 4 dilos 1 para and 1 phinom or what ever and i pinched him and then my dinos attacked but then another trike came because there were like 5 in the area and then this had 525 hp and i attacked but i died i respawned in my taming base where my trike was and a raptor was beating him up he died and the raptors still outside i called my Dinos and no one says anything

Here's an easy way to tame this for beginners.

1. Make a 5 by 3 (or 3 by 3) trap. (Wood is most recommended)

2. Make a ramp going up into the trap

3. Hit the trick make sure there is NOT any other trikes there.

4. Use a SLINGSHOT (25-30 stones) on their BODY (the head takes less damage)

5. Enjoy your trike.

don’t try to tranq it near another trike then they will both attack and don’t say a word about the egg, you’ll die for sure (unless you have a wyvern next to you)

What I did was I made it chase me and it got stuck in between trees and I punched it until it was knocked out then I fed him berries and boom tamed

If you wondering which stats to invest in, I suggest health, stamina and melee damage.

Throw bolas at the trike. Punch until it becomes unconscious. Feed berries until it is full if the unconscious bar falls down punch to bring it back up.

Then keep feeding until full and if the bola breaks shoot another. Keep doing until tamed

Best way to tame is by narcotic arrows… DONT WASTE YOUR BOLA!!! They are too big of a creature to capture in one! Just get one away from the pack or single one out… kill the others and then tranq the one of your choice. 🆙 so others see🤘
