if you have creatures put them on passive. If you have enough health, you can one be one. And knock it out.

I stole a trike’s egg and It charged at me but then I RAN away VERY far from camp and I was safe but not for old because It found me and the trike was like: hello again! You will now die :>.

Find a cliff and shoot it with tranqs. Make sure the cliff isn’t too short that it can get up to you and not too tall so that you can jump off when it runs away and survive! When it runs keep shooting it until it’s knocked out! Also before taming it make sure it’s a safe place! Remember to feed it once it’s knocked out! Have a good day😀

Here's how to tame a triceratops:

1. Definitely don't bola it.

2. I recommend building a trap using stone structures. Like a 4 by 6 foundation, and doorframes for the walls, make it 3 doorframes high. And build some ramps so you can lead the trike into the trap.

3. Shoot it with a tranquilizing ammo like tranq arrows or certain darts.

4. After it's knocked out, feed it berries, veggies, or preferred kibbles.

My advice is to find a trike near a steep cliff and shoot it with rocks until if falls down. This tactic has worked over 5 times for me and I hope will help you

Here’s how to get your own one of these!( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) (MOBILE)

What will you need:

-If playing on easy (levels 1-20), you will need 20-30 tranq arrows, if on medium (levels 1-150), need 35-50 tranqs, if on hard or hardcore, use over 55 (not if low level).

- some narcotics (if on easy you probably won’t need it just get some narcoberries )

- if your too low level for tranqs, get a slingshot (probably only works on easy), add 100-120 rocks and yea. (OPTIONAL)

- high rock to get onto (they can get higher than you’d think!)

LETS GET ONTO THE TAMING!

Step 1- find your trike, make sure there isn’t over 1 unless you want 2 trikes (you need 2x the stuff).

Step 2- get onto your high rock.

Step 3: shoot at it and keep going

Step 4: when it starts running (far enough that it won’t come back) chase after it FAST and shoot it while running.

Step 5: now he is unconscious put the berries/kibble/crops/etc in the inventory and start waiting.

Step 6: if the torpor (purple bar) gets low then feed it some narcotics.

Step 7: wait and guard it from carnivores.

Step 8: YOU GOT A TRIKE!!

If you are going to tame or kill a trike make sure there is no other trikes around because usually they will all turn to you and start charging you before you start hitting them with tranq arrows/stones 👍🏼

Trikes are one of my favorite soakers. If you have sweetcakes they can even heal faster then that they get damaged.

Never build a spike wall near triceratops family, when you get off multiplayer, these guys will destroy them very quickly and when you get back on you'll have a surprise waiting for you.

Well that has happened 10 times now and in the I killed them.

Trikes have a boost near large creatures and they are very good for hunting as their attack reach is high so no predator can ussualy reach it. I’ve killed a couple of alpha raptors, t-Rex, carno, barynoxys and other animals without taking any significant damage. I suggest to upgrade its Melle and stamina.

This is a simple way of taming a trike.

Step 1.find a low level trike (must be under level 5 for this)

Step 2.make some tranq arrows and a bow

Step 3.shoot the trike

Step 4.run around in circles shooting the body not the head

Step 5.once it’s unconscious feed it tons a berrys

Trikes knockback are so good I kill alpha raptors like they are dodos

Do not pick the eggs unless you are prepared to face this beast itself I thought it would be a good way to lure one from the rest of the group but the female had helpers!

Saw one trike trapped between two trees starts hitting with tranq then turned around and saw 3 trike coming up on me and then..... 💀

GET ON HIGHER GROUND! A trike’s climbing ability is awful! Make sure you bring plenty of Narcoberries and Mejoberries. Great start-mid game tame. I tamed a level six female using this method, with tranq arrows & bow. Good luck :]

I had a trick and I named it rody..but after a few months I got a higher level trick and than I thought of unclaiming rody....GOODBYE RODY ILL MISS YOU BECASUE YOU WERE THE BEST STARTER I EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. (Also dinos die after unclaiming them..) UP THIS FOR RODY😭😭😭😢

So this is all that I know about uses of trikes

1: they are good for protection even if wild and could be in groups of 3

2: they have red heads if there's a spino/rex/giga so run

3: you can spam attack so it can take on rexes

4: very tanky if you pump health into it

5: easy tame so you can always get one even if you noob

6: can give horn thingy so you can make saddles

7: can swim fast in water (out run's megs)

8: has a stun attack so you can hit and run

Now for weakness:

1: raptors can dis mount you

2: can't kill spinos

3: slow

4: not that useful in late game

Tip for any really news players, don’t mess with these guys, there might only be one, in sight, but if you attack one then find out you can’t take it, run back to your base, only to find out 4 more are chasing you and they’ll destroy your thatch base. Don’t attack these guys

A lvl 20 trike can kill anything when your on the saddle if your not riding it then a lvl 1 raptor will be able to kill it put a saddle go to an alpha or rex spino and the trike will be able to obliterate it lvl melee and health to get the most powerful trike my trike tri horn can kill megs underwater I don’t what’s going on but trikes are underrated

This is my low level way to tame a trike:

1) get a slingshot, the resources to repair it, mejoberries, narcoberries, and a bunch of rocks (I prefer at least 200)

2) go to a beach with one and find a large rock he can’t climb (make sure it is very steep)

3) shoot him anywhere but the head (he won’t get knocked out if you shoot him in the head) while on the rock

4) when he is knocked out, give him the mejoberries and narco berries and let him eat (do not force feed him unless he is running out of torpor then you can feed him the narcoberries)
