make sure you have a good distance away from it

They're not great harvesting dinos in my opinion because they can't carry too much, but at higher levels they become strong battle mounts. I took my lv185 trike into the swamps to tame a beelz. When I finished I killed 7 titanboas 2 sarcos and a ton of dilos with it. I also tamed 2 high lv Beelzs and a low lv kapro. I was very impressed with him and I recommend you get one if your looking for a little protection.

P.S. if your looking for a good traveling or harvesting mount at low to mid level get an Iguanadan.

You can knock out the trike whith a horse hind kick just stand in front of trike let it charge and wham in the face a good horse will have it running in a few kicks

Useful for the beginning, but now mine is just sitting at my base. Prob covered in dust.

Trikes are easy to tame and trap. Just punch one in the butt and run into a room with a gate. From there you just shoot it with tranqs knock it out and feed it berries.

If you want to do more torpor, shoot it in the cloaca (the most vulnerable spot according to Sl1pg8r)

I had a level 45 trike it got stuck in a tree and I was able to hit it a few times with a slingshot and it was mine! But when I cut down the tree it got killed! Be careful when cutting down trees for tamed dinos!!

Level up till u can upgrade to wood u r gonna need 2 roofs 3 walls 1 floor 1 door and frame and a ramp

Build a 1x1 and put 2nd roof on the side place your ramp going to the 2nd roof and shoot your trike with a slingshot run onto your roof and shoot it till it's out

One of the best gather for berries I highly recommend it me and my friend got 87 narcoberries from it

Great to harvest berries but upgrade weighs and stamina

Recently, a lvl 20 rex somehow glitched into our base. Only thing not set on passive were the 4 trikes, they totally wrecked that rex! Seriously, a trike is a must-have for early game and base defense!

On an official server I was trying to tame a lvl 20 and hit it 5 times, no more like 12, and it didn't knock out!!!!!

Don't try to tame them when in a pack. They will gang up on you. When your a low level get on a rock out of their range with a slingshot.

Use your trike to gather near the swamp for the most resources. Use the rare flowers and mushrooms to eat, same as cooked meat but doesn't spoil. Also, by the swamp you will collect X-Plant seeds.

Trikes are the most useful creatures at lower levels/starting out. Easy and simple tames. The saddle isn't to hard to create. The many resources you can get ESPECIALLY berries can help you out in the long run.

To tame get them stuck on a tree then trank.

A bola will not work on these guys. First shoot a tranq arrow into its butt and keep trying to shoot its butt. When it turns it will try to hit you. Do not try and fire tranqs into the head because it has armor on the head. When it is running toward you fire the tranqs into its feet. If it charges at you run for your life in all directions. Once it had high torpor it will try to flee. Fire a bunch of tranqs into its butt before it gets knocked out in water where piranhas will eat it or in the woods where raptors will eat it. Once it’s knocked out throw a bunch of mejoberries into it until it’s tamed. Keep an eye on it so a dilo or raptor doesn’t try to eat it.

These guys are op I mean I just killed 10 carnos with a trike if your trike is higher or equal in level to a carno or therizino it can easily fight them because of it's knock back attack just pump health, meele damage and stamina. They are great for collecting thatch and berries.

Great battler and thatch/berries gatherer. Extremely poor stamina, however.
