Taming & KO Tips

How do I tame a titanoboa? Tips and strategies on taming and knocking out a titanoboa.
Acid spitting tape worm on crack and fricking
hates all thing that move
Get on something big that they wont attack (I use a spino cause they're awesome for swamps) and drop eggs while riding it, the snake will eat the eggs and ignore you. JUST MAKE SURE THE EGGS COME FROM YOUR INVENTORY NOT THE MOUNT
For a lvl 55 a Dimetredon egg gives 3.2% tame. Thank god I also brought Rex and quetz eggs. It seems to slow down during night, it wholly paused eating and curled itself up at 93%. The second the sun came up, it started eating again.
Make sure to use fertilised egg's as they like to eat the eggs with baby's in.
I built a stone house about 2 wide and 6-7 long foundation and walls. Then putting a staircase on the outside I used an Argie to grab and place the Titanboa into it before knocking the fella out and dropping the fertilized eggs near it into the trap structure; it will automatically eat them and tame. Waiting for the creature to wake up is probably the most time consuming part.
I don't know if I may have broke the system but this worked for me..
Get on your birdy and hover around the snake you like, it will aggro and follow you. Take to slightly safer location then just stay hovering above snake.
After a few minutes it will lose aggro and go to leave. DO NOT MOVE just drop the fertilised eggs from YOUR inventory DO NOT drop eggs from you birdies inventory or it will glitch.
And bam you now have snake. I hope this helps :D
Please note!. After tamed, THEY ARE EAT AN UNFERTILEZED EGG OR WILD EGG TOO!!, so dont spending your fertilezed egg for them. Find a wild egg, or make a dodo egg farm. And good news their food consumption are so little. I made a tried. So i put 10 dodo wild eggs on their inventory, and it still 7 eggs lefted after 15 days tamed (in game). Then I tried to put a bigger egg (1 spino wild egg), and they ate it when they are really-really starving (when their food bar is almost empty, maybe more less 10% lefted) it took 17 days to eat 1 spino egg, from full bar to almost empty bar.
Note: dont worry if they didnt eat your big egg. Becausez they are wait untill their food points is decreased as match with the many of the egg will fill. They know how many the egg will fill their food points, thats why they didnt eat it quickly
Trap a snake inside a 4×4 base when it's not agro drop some fartilized egg(bronto or rex egg).
All I gotta say is no step on snek
Made by Agent argy I saw my last tip got auto remade so i am mad so here’s how to tame one
1(DO NOT KNOCK OUT NEED TO BE AWAKE
2(Use a argy to put it in a roofless house
3(drop ferti eggs over it then go out of Afro rang wait for it to eat one
4( add it in the tamin tracker then drop like 10 ferti argy eggs In the house and wait for it to tame
Hope y’all enjoyed I will start makin more tips!
Most of the values on here are wrong. I used 20 Dimorph eggs on a level 95 and it wasn't even at 10%. Bump so people know and it gets changed.
If you’re on mobile click off this category, and ignore taming advice, these snakes are not tameable on mobile.
Titanoboas can be tamed with Wyvern eggs. They prefer the fire eggs the most and ice the least. They get more taming from poison, and least from lightning. Build a 5x5x5 pen and drop them into it filled with eggs.
Step 1: Get fertilized eggs
Step 2: Chuck them off a random edge with trees
Step 3: check every now and then to see if a Titanoboa ate the eggs yet. If they have, they will be waiting there for you to pick them up.
To tame, get on a flying mount and drop eggs from above. Otherwise they'll just attack you.
if you're on fjordur, use those low level wild deinonychus eggs you would've thrown out otherwise!
You want to tame them you get fertilized eggs drop them down and you don't want to make it angry at you or it will not eat the eggs.
I really hope the devs make it so that taming titanoboas you don't need live eggs and that you just need dino eggs * up for the dessert to see *
Build a 3x3 taming cage and have a hatch frame at top so you can through your eggs in without getting molested
So yesterday i found a lil snek i wanted and i knocked it out and placed 3 fertilized eggs nearly right on top of it and he ate them all before waking up gaining 183% taming but since you cant forcefeed them stims and the taming bar was full i waited and when it woke up the taming was 0 and it attacked me... idk if i placed the eggs too close or why he ate them in his sleep in the first place but lost my eggs and had to put him down
