easy to kill with a bow and arrows! if you encounter one, sprint back a bit and stop to shoot. a good bow will take it down in two shots. decent source of meat, just don't get knocked out! i play on mobile so i don't know if these things are true for other versions of the game.

i feel either they could size up titanoboas to basilisks current size (make basilisk larger) and have you ride them. you could coil enemies, spit poison (like dilo), you could swim, or you could lunge (like the sarco). just though of some more uses for this guy :P

These guys are passive tames by dropping fertilized eggs by them so they can eat. Best way is to get a flyer and drop eggs. I would really like if they made unfertilized eggs a taming food also because I literally have about 50 unfertilized GiGa eggs stuck in my refrigerator, not knowing what the heck to do with them.

The dossier says "found in dark caves..." Really? Have they never went to the swamp and get their A's beaten by them?

Ark mobile: If you want to farm Boa eggs here is a very basic way to do it. But you will need an Argentavis. Make 3×3 stone wall structure or cell with one door way, three storied high and make it on open natural floor or grass or soil without the housing base structure. Use foundation railings. If your structure is in open area or outside base walls where wild dinos can come then make walls around the structure with one door way , atleast one wall wide. Make a second one of this adjacent to the first one. Pick and drop the snake to the adjacent cell with Argy for collecting the eggs.

They do not drop eggs anymore they were useful for tames now not because they don’t drop eggs

The easiest way I think to kill it is one Dilophosaur and two giant turtles but one Dilophosaur will do the trick but watch it’s topor

Titanoboa is not passive or knock out tame. Kinda of passive tame but you dont go up to it and feed it. All you need is a ghillie suit, some eggs mainly bigger eggs like rex or medium sized creatures like allosaurus and carnos. Then you have to wait until it tames but be careful whirl taming it. There are kapros, sarcos, barys, and leeches since they only live in the swamp.

It's best to keep them at range with a bow or crossbow, don't try and knock them out at all. Be wary of how quick they can sneak up on you at all times near their spawn locations. Make sure you keep stimberries on your hot bar so that way you can still access them if you get bit by a Titanoboa as they will usually knock you out. Upgrading your fortitude can help counteract this so be sure to put some levels into your fortitude early on. Titanoboa's are easy to outpace but be very wary as they can climb over most obstacles so don't bother thinking your safe by hiding behind a rock or a steep slope. Killing these guys is pretty simple with any ranged damaging weapon, just run a couple of steps, turn around and fire, repeat. Make sure you keep an eye on your stamina as it can be easy to forget about it during a battle, running out of it allows the Titanoboa to catch up to you pretty quickly so manage it correctly.

Baryonyx will mess them up. Just make sure they have a high melee stat.

Tame a bunch of high level ones, put them in a box, make them all aggressive and throw some knocked out people inside the snake pit.

1: DO NOT KNOCK OUT had to be awake

2:make mid size home (NO roof)

3: use army to put it in the roofless house

4:drop fertilized egg in the pin it is what it eat personally I think argy egg are the best but any will do

5:wait for it to eat the first one then put it on tamarind tracker

6: wait for it to get to tameing % to 90+ and go like 50 feet above it when tamed use argy to left it out and back to ur base

Bola/trap other creature. And let this long guy attack them, but dont let him kill it. And boom! easy taming for almost any creature. 3-7 hits of them is enough to unconscious a therizino, depends on therizino levels

Run away, they will knock a new player out in 1-2 bites. If you live near there spawn learn what they sound like when they move. They can also climb over most obstacles with ease.

These things are cowards and only win fights bc they spit 🙄

Theses things killed me a couple times at the start, but after getting the bow and arrow I went back and destroyed them.

They’re pretty slow so u can just shoot at them, run away for a bit and keep shooting them and low levels die after 2 or 3 shots. （＾ν＾）

Place down the egg in a clear spot, then lead the snake to where he will walk over it. Then run away out of its target area, then let it eat the egg, and repeat. Warning, it could depend on the server, but with my snake, Dangerous Spaghetti, he will only eat eggs, not meat, when tamed!!!
