Tips & Strategies

What are tips for titanoboa? Tips and strategies for titanoboa in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
This is why the swamp sux in ark they knock you out in one bite
If these were tameable they would be op so I'm glad they aren't because if someone came at you with like 20 of them then ur dead
Run forest run!!! Joking just shoot them in their ugly head
It's best to keep them at range with a bow or crossbow, don't try and knock them out at all. Be wary of how quick they can sneak up on you at all times near their spawn location. Keep stimberries on your hot bar so that way you can still access them if you get bit by a Titan as they will usually knock you out. Upgrading your fortitude can counteract this, so definitely put some levels into your fortitude. Titanoboa's are easy to outpace but be very wary as they can climb over most obstacles, so don't bother trying to get them stuck behind a rock as they will just slither over it. Killing these guys is pretty simple with the bow, just run a couple of steps, turn around and fire, and repeat. Be sure to keep an eye on your stamina tho as it is key to not run out whilst fighting titanoboa's.
Score count so far:
Me: around 150 titanoboas killed on surface, 27 or 28 titanoboas killed in caves. 72 Boa eggs stolen, 1 spoiled.
Titanoboa: three kills on player*, two sets of equipment: (2 metal hatchets and picks, 4 torches, 1 mastercraft bow, 1 longneck rifle, one set of hide armor and one set of chitin, 1 sword, 1 apprentice crossbow, ammunition including 7 tranq darts and uncountable miscellaneous stuff and resources.) One tamed lv29 wooly rhino, one lv32 otter. (Sadly the last two deaths could have been avoided had the game shut down as i thought instead of running on silently. By the time I returned I could only watch helplessly as my character lies unconscious as my otter bravely but futily tries to defend me from two snakes and die. Then it was my turn.)
*2 times passed out from titanoboa bites early game and died to another predator, but technically not boa kills.
"And u wonder why i don't like these things." Frankly speaking if there's ever a tlc for titanoboas they should at least become tameable on mobile.
Easiest way for me is to kill everything around it, drop eggs from the sky and wait
On pc or console you can force tame soooo dont waste ur time on fertilized eggs and wait for it to wake up
That sure was a dangerous base area.
Apparently maewing egg are the best I feed it 1 and it went higher then the other eggs on this list
This Tip Is For Them Who Were Trying To Tame This Thing In Ark Mobile Like Me 😅
I Tryed Many Times Knocking It Out But It Died Every Time... That Time I Didn't Knew That It's "Not Tamable" 😂You Guyes Also Dont Try This Cuz It Will Fail Every Time..
Their is no excaping it .no worries
The titanoboa has a thread around it’s neck.
Swords kill these pretty well I took on 3 at a time from 45 to 98
Wearing flak armor reduces the amount of torpor you get by a shitload, so if you ever plan on going near swamps always make sure to bring a set.
I kill them with my viking axe. Three skill points in fortitude help against knock out. Pikes do less damage, you don‘t need them. If they attack together, use stim or have a friend with you.
A fierce predator, capable of taking almost anything down in a few seconds. Causes much trouble when gathering needed resources in the swamp areas of the island. Relentless, will chase you wherever you go even if it is out of its territory.
Passive. Tame.
Sit on a Rex or something it won't I grow and drop a fertilized egg from your inventory on the ground to tame
Don't use small eggs, tip needs a few more words. But that's all that needs said
DodoDex is wrong it takes 1 less wyvern egg than giga eggs. So use your trash wyvern eggs. 7 will tame a 25 titan. These are fragile so only use em for kibble.
Be careful. Dododex numbers are definitely off on how many eggs. Go by the wiki for now or waste fert eggs like I did. Still, much love Dododex!
