Tips & Strategies

I dropped eggs from my wyvern near them and it didn't work. Then I dropped the eggs from myself when I was standing up. It worked. I dropped Rex and Wyvern eggs which was fertilised. It went for the Rex eggs.
More Titanoboa Taming & KO Tips
1. Find a nice level snek
2. Clear out all da trees, (so you can see whats going on)
3. Make it go sleepy night night with tranq arrows
3. Place FERTILIZED eggs around it
4. GTFO
When it wakes up, it will eat the eggs without the worry of it aggroing on you and now you have a snek boi
Tame a paracer, make platform saddle, put fertilized eggs in paracer inventory, find boa, drop eggs from paracer inventory, BOOM boa is yours! Boas will not aggro on a paracer!
I just figured something out that might prove vital for taming these. If you go to the cave that contains The Artifact Of The Hunter and bait these guys into the water, just kill off the ones that arenβt near to the bottom of the waterpool that they end up in. They seem to become pacified by the water, meaning you can get as close to them as you want now, and they wonβt get angry at you for doing so anymore (provided you stay IN THE WATER, level up oxygen stats) This also means you can now drop a fertilized egg near them without having to worry about getting knocked out. They will become angry again if you try to leave the water, however. So it would be best to level up oxygen or bring a Diplocaulus before attempting, to avoid prematurely drowning and withering away before the snake has been tamed. I noticed it spent extended periods in the water, which means it lacks the oxygen stat, so Iβll ready a batch of fertilized eggs and report back once I can get a result. As a warning to players unaware of caves or Titanoboas in general, Iβd advise you not attempt this due to a few factors. A: The snakes are highly aggressive and will tranquilize you with their attack. B: They require you to drop fertilized eggs near them, and most of the eggs needed come from creatures that are dangerous to tame, and C: The caves generally have plenty more dangers to worry about, especially if you rely on your armor, tames and consciousness to keep you alive. With that being said, you likely do NOT want to attempt what Iβm about to do until you have a pinch better quality equipment and have leveled a bit better.
You tame them by droping ferti eggs from your inv on the ground. You need to do so when the snake is not aggroed, so sit on a rex or smthing it wont attack. Be sure to drop them from your inventory, not from dino ones, that will make it bugged, it wont eat. To a lvl 20 Rex egg gives 29% on 2x event, bronto 26.7% and giga and wyvern the same, looks like all the big eggs give approxymately the same amount.. so dont waste the best you have ? If they get aggroed on you just run away and return, taming wont drop. Happy taming!
the snake can't be tamed in mobile for the blind ppl to know
Titanboa need a TLC. It should eat meat after tamed. Real snakes don't just eat eggs they eat meat and it would be nice if you can ride it even without a saddle
Get on something big that they wont attack (I use a spino cause they're awesome for swamps) and drop eggs while riding it, the snake will eat the eggs and ignore you. JUST MAKE SURE THE EGGS COME FROM YOUR INVENTORY NOT THE MOUNT
So once youβve tamed a titanoboa, they still eat eggs. You cant feed them meat. I learned that the hard way. π’
