The first time I tamed a Thylo I didn’t use a gillie suit, the second time I did it I was wearing my gillie suit and I didn’t get pounced as much. It really helped when finding/taming them. Try it out! I hoped works for all of y’all!!

Place large bear traps down in front of the tree it's on (if your lucky to find it on a tree) shoot it in the face with a tranq dart and wait for it to run into the trap be bewear it breaks out fast so have extra bear traps or it will fuck your days and your tames day too

So good can climb and is more OP then a dire bear definitely recommend taking one heck there even good for end game and pvp

These creatures are great for going around the map they will also most likely find you before you find them, I was searching for one and was attacked by three others and had to kill them they spawn in the redwoods and will most likely be found on the trees.

I hate everyone saying bring hundreds of narcotics instead of narcotics make some kibble it’s not that difficult with kibble no narcotics are necessary so I say again USE KIBBLE

Been trying to tame a level 7 Thylaceleo with exceptional Kibble and an Elixir and it refuses to tame. It barely even gets to 50% after eating three Exeptional Kibbles. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, I just want a tree kitty

taking a low level one (20) in a raft trap wish me luck I think he’s gonna wake up. But I think I can tame him and keep him asleep bc I have a trike and I can just destroy all bushes ever to exist for narcotics

note= I suggest keeping them asleep with 100s of narcoberries bc I fed him like 160 and he went from a quarter of the way awake to full

Best is Prime Meat Jerky & Cooked Meat if you don't have titanboa kibble, Cooked Lamb Chops or Raw Mutton. Doesn't take more then 30-40 minutes for a level 5. Does better then prime meat, raw meat.

Some people have been getting a glitch when not all creature’s appear to be in listed in fjorder but it is just a glitch some people have I don’t have it but some people have said about it and I just want to point that out

How to easily tame Thylacoleo:

1. acquire a Special egg farm ( Hespornis for Golden eggs or a yuty farm will do )

2. Make a lot of extraordinary kibble

3. Travel to a nearby obelisk or Tek transferer thing ( I don’t remember it’s name )

4. Put all the kibble you made ( and any other useful materials you might need ) into the obelisk and transfer.

5. Open your SE map or server

6. Head to an obelisk ( or transfer thingy ) and acquire the kibble and your stuff

7. Head to the bad lands in the east of the SE map near the green obelisk

8. Knock out and tame the Thylas that are located in the area ( they walk around )

9.Transfer back to your Island server and brag to your underachieving friends that you’ve tamed a Thyla

Get ur tankiest argie some cooked meat or kibble and hundreds of narcotics lift them up drop it in a pen and tranq darts it out. Emphasis on darts not arrows. Dont even try with arrows.

get a quetzal with a plat saddle with a bug or something that deals torpor and put it on neutral it’s out in no time

If your looking to tame here's my way if you have a flyer that fly's decently fast has a good bit of stamina and can take a beating for example a argy fly high but not too high just enough for it to lunge at you if you do it right then you should be able to dodge the thylo and land quickly I suggest having a parachute sence it will attempt to run off so while your going down you can get a few shots in if it does manage to grab you however you could either shoot it while it has you pinned or beat it with a wooden club sence you did go out of your way to tame it if your using the club option take more than one sence thylos can take a beating I don't recommend using a taming pen sence all the recourses may slow you and your flyer down and knowing the red woods and how dangerous it is your better off using no pen but that's not saying that it is possible sence it is but your putting yourself at risk by doing this if you do build the pen then well done you just got a thylo easily

All you need to trap it is a single metal billboard. Let the Thylacoleo come to you and place the billboard right in the middle of it's body. Back off and start knocking it out. Once knocked out, tame it by feeding it extraordinary kibble or cooked lamb chop. Other food takes too long and since it's torpor goes down very fast, it will require a lot of narcotics.

Step 1# go to red woods

Step 2# find a thyla

Step 3# build 2 by 2 stone trap

Step 4 use long neck or a crossbow /w Tranq arrows or Tranq darts

Step 4# spend one hour trying to knock it out

Step 5# feed any meat or it's chosen kibble and put a lot of narcotics in it's inva

Step 6# wait a hour to tame it -_-

I managed to knock out of these and it woke up while I was putting narcotics in its inventory

I would like to say these things are insane once tamed BUT In the wild dis will destroy you. like just flying care free on my prized Argy then no joke 2 of them launch at me and if you should know what happened next......... We lost a good Argy and all my gear😥😭
