Really annoying to tame, as you just have to keep flying/running away with a tame because you're nowhere near as fast. I just would fly about 100 meters, load my crossbow and hopefully be able to fire before it hits me or my pteranodon. Eventually, it started running and was stuck against a wall. I got lucky at that part.

I tamed one of these with prime. Took about 5 hours for a lvl 95

With a lvl 100 i spent it 43 cooked muttons instead of 42 and 59.5% of effectiveness

Watch out for this giant female crotch they will stun you if not careful

They spawn in the red woods and will pounce off trees if you see one run or be violated and murdered

Cooked meat works better than Prime. Trying out cooked prime tomorrow.

I use my Gigantopithecus when taming Thylacoleos. Let your Giganto tank the hits and you can shoot while mounted. I use shocking tranq darts and they knockout in no time.

Bear trap, tranq arrow, and cooked meat are what I found to be easiest

Just walk through the forest and look for any weird shape and shoot it with a shocking track dart

Dododex needs to update that it can be carried by the argentavis

I don't recommend taming like 130-150 with even coocked prime cuz you will wrekt it's effectiveness and good lvls are very Rare...

Make sure you bring +100 narcotics because I couldn’t even tame a lvl 5 with 100 narcotics

Now they can be caried by Argies, but they can attack the argy while in they are in the argy's talons , so don't hold them to much if you don't have enough health in your bird.

Pump points in speed and stamina and you’ll become untouchable

Wear ghillie, they wont jump out at you. I pick up with quetz from trees without a problem.
