I was flying near the Red woods when i landed for som stanima but a titanaboa found me so I flew away as fast as I could as I fly something jumps from the trees and takes me off my mount I tried finding my perodon but couldn't find it a few days later while I am playing I get an alert saying your perodon was killed and I was so mad cuz I looked everywhere for it but couldn't find it

Keep a harpon gun and you can net them when they jump on you and can dart them net to tame

This thing is very good for taking down strong dinos if you combine its force with a pack of direwolves. I rode on a level 40 thyla with 3 level 150 direwolves and we absolutely destroyed stuff on scorched earth. We could take down a rock golem easily because of the insane dps this group has. I would 100% recommend this for mid-late game.

Use a snow owl to search high level or you just want to revenge your beloved dinos

these things arnt in ark mobile, good if you want to let your flying mount live for another day(they jump out from the redwoods and pin you), bad if you wanted to tame/find one

I’d say you need 5 hatch speed and 6 mature speed to fully imprint then 0.1 cuddle timer I’ve imprint so many thylacoleos and Rex is doing these settings 50 % on gigas to I recommend these settings for boss fighting creatures

I’d never tamed one before and wanted to give it a go. Found one up in a tree near my base. Built a stone 3 x 2 pen that’s 2 walls high. Shoot at the beast in the tree but it got distracted. Decided to go look for it, suddenly it thought I was more tasty. I ran around the pen in circles until I trapped it inside with me. I placed the final two windows, armour was on the brink of breaking. I squeezed through my doorframe and there I had a successful catch. I used cooked mutton for my tame. Most terrifying thing I’ve ever done but definitely worth it.

Shoot a dart at it to safely get it out of the tree then bring it to your favorite taming pen.

They like cooked meat more than normal meat they eat all types of meat fish prime you name it but it prefers cooked meat over its raw counter part

Breeding: Babies can and will climb trees. Dont lose them! Plan safe pregnancies! XD

Easiest to find on SE. Wonderful land mounts, hold jump and watch them climb (rocks & trees).

You can also use meat to tame it.

And always take a parachute too tge redwoods in case the Thylacoleo jump on you when you are flying

A shotgun is a pretty good choice of you get grabbed.

Better choice is to have an escort like my rex I had following the bigfoot I was riding when one jumped me.

ASA : use command r.MaterialQualityLevel 0 so you can spot thyla easily on giant tree redwoor and evade it or prepared to tame it.

For the noobs ramshackle or higher tier weapons for tranqs don't need the number said when I tamed a giga ot only took a few tranqs to knock it strait out

They like cooked meat more than raw. I tried taming one with raw, and it did 1% of tame. I gave him cooked meat and it did 3 more. Also you probably will need narcotics. Look at trees!
