Thyla's are fairly easy to find/hunt/track ...

They are usually found in redwood and/or desert regions. In the redwoods they are o ly on the largest trees up about 1/2-3/4 up between the ground and the first branches. There has to be dense underbrush and boulders in the immediate area, and lastly (but most importantly) if the area is plagued with Carno's and Terror Birds .... start looking UP

I managed to tame one stuck in a fallen tree on Scorched Earth..

Need to add this on mobile the red woods arent the same without them i want the redwoods to have a callenge i went there and i barely got scratched

They can jump on players flying with wayverns. So if you don’t want to die or lose you wayvern on the red woods, keep flying above the trees.

I haven’t seen one yet, but they should be in Gen 2 on the ground. I’ve seen a YouTuber or two encounter one. Apparently they will be found on the ground like in Rag. Though I am curious if they do their perching on the side of cliffs instead of the Redwoods.

My game has a weird glitch where it loves to crash when I try to respawn. I was flying through the Redwoods, when one of these (I want to curse here, but I won’t) things, and knocked me down into a pack of Allosaurus. I died, and my game glitched. I lost my entire game, and I had just tamed my first ever Spinosaurus earlier that day.

On crystal isles their in the desert dont know if it helps but yeah

Just found a 145 in the murder snow frozen lake that always has like 100 mammoths. Was taming a yuty I found and this thyla just meanders on over lol...a lvl 145.....I almost had a heart attack. I'm in fur and wyvern is on passive lol....it's still there somewhere...lurking...

To me it seem like a impossible to find one and if I do they kill me by jumping on me

I was flying through the trees to get to the volcano and one of these jumped out of a tree and landed on my back and killed me and I couldn’t do anything about it.

Dude be afraid of the jungle with these idiots I was flyin all casual one pounced up and knocked me off my pteranodon if the fall didn’t kill me the thylacoleo would have.

My first encounter was terrifying. I saw it in the tree and was warned not to fly close. I didn’t. I kept my distance and it didn’t jump at me. I turned around, flying even further away and for some reason, it decided to do an Olympic jump to wrestle me off my argy and pin to the ground. It ignored me when I was flying closer to it the first time... be warned, they like a challenge.
