I actually tamed one of these on accident. I had built a trap for taming a Trike and when searching for one to agro I got jumped at by a Thyla and freaked out and ran to my base but the beast just jumped right into my trap. After that it was easy to knock him out with my tranqs. I named him Cole btw, he was a great guy. But just like any story about your perfect pet on ark.... you lose them. We were on a metal run and I was taking him because he can jump far. When I saw some metal I got off and started hitting it but suddenly I got attacked by 3 terror birds and Cole jumped right off a cliff to catch one. Normally these guys can survive a fall but after saving me from the terror bird he had fallen into a swamp :( . Instantly he was ambushed by a Kapro and two Sarcos. He fought well and killed the first Sarco but in the end he died. I have a gravestone at my old base which reads “ here lies a great frienship that came about by what seems to have been chance but was the invisible connection between him and his soon to be owner that would spend so much time together and still be protecting his beloved friend to his death.” RIP Cole 😰😥😭
This valiant Thyla who life was so unfair to. I just wish I had more time to tell him how much he meant to me. 😟

Holy wasn't expecting my story about my thyla queen and her tragic fate to get so many updates lol. (Especially with all my spelling mistakes.)
I lost that server years ago but every time I play on ragnarok I always set up a grave.
Whenever I breed thyla the final outcome must always be female and be named after her. I recently completed a new one and remembered I shared her story.
Me and my friend started a server. We managed to clutch tame a 162 thyla. After she nearly attacked or knocked out carno. After dealing with 2 golems we finally got her tamed. We named her queen. She was a champ... We loved her. She helped us defeat the ice queen on rag several times. Thyla blood op am i right. We used her on the golem boss. We defeated it.... As we were leaving.... I was jumping a gap of lava.... A lag spike hit rubber banding me back... She fell into the lava... She gave her life so i could grapple to safety.... We have a grave set up for her on her favourite spot.... She leaves us with her children... Mutated thylas named ruby shade and topaz..
Shell forever remaim in our hearts and minds... Rest in peace queen our best friend....
i once had a Thyla called Mango. Mango was light orange with brown stripes. Then I found a black female thyla who had rlly good stats. I built a zoo at that time and I had them all on wandering to make it realistic but I forgot to neuter my thylas… now mango and nyx (the black one) have millions of children. (They had triplets) I named them Orange, Banana and Maple Syrup. I love my triplets and my Thylas. So once the triplets grew up, I took Maple Syrup on a trip to my friend’s base across the ocean. My Wyvern dropped them in the ocean and they got attacked by a megalodon and killed. R.I.P Maple Syrup. 1 like = 1 flower for Maple Syrup.
I remember I was looking around for a mount I hadn’t realized I was in the red woods then I looked up at a tree cause I saw something at the top of my screen and it killed me then I spawned close to where it killed me and I looked at the tree and he was just hanging on the side of the tree and I ran like a coward
Chapter 3: The Redwood Camp...
Bob and the other Survivors were on Diplodocuses, They were walking and some survivors were Hungry. "When are we going to eat?" Said 1 survivor Hungrily, Bob Replied "Don't worry. We need to find the Villag-" Then a Thylacoleo jumps in front of Bob's Diplodocus but The Thyla didn't attack yet because the Leader of the RedWood Camp appears on the Back of the Thyla "Ah... Jannie's Crew, Where is Jannie?" The Leader Asked Bob, "Ah... Um... Jannie was Kidnapped." Bob Replied, "We need to get her back.Now." (Second part on Dodo)
PawFlaw’s final fight
When i first started playing on ark mobile, i got a pair of thylacleos, Tyla and Pawflaw. They were mates and helped me across my early journeys on the ark. One day, on my journey to get my first argy, Tyla got attacked by a saber while on passive and her and her unborn baby died, Pawflaw and i went home that day empty. On a journey to get another thyla for him, we got attacked, we hid in a tree while carnos and raptor waited for us below. At some point, i decided i wanted to hide in someones base so he could heal and i could relax as i was scared i would crash while in the tree and we would both fall to our deaths, in my haste i failed to realized thylas cannot climb tek walls, and so Pawflaw and I were ambushed by all kinds of redwoods predators, troodons , raptors, terror birds. I realized my mistake quickly but he was out of stam and couldnt run anymore and so we decided to fight, in the end Pawflaw and I didnt make it out alive. A couple days pass and i eventually tame another thylacleo and name him Pawflawreborn, in honor of my dear fallen friend. Throughout the next few days and weeks Pawflawr becomes a trusty mount of mine, and helps me get many of the tames i have today, from rexes to yutys. One day me and my friend head to redwoods to get direbears and another thyla for him to mate with. On this journey i trap a female and begin taming her, but need cooked prime meat in other to properly get her, and what else gives alot of prime meat? Alpha raptors. So Pawflawr and BloodBorne ( my rex ) seek out some near the beach of redwoods. Me being ambitious decide that my rex and Pawflaw can take on 2 alpha raptors. Pawflaw was already at half health from trying to get the previous Thyla in the trap, but i still thought we could do it as my rex had 16k health and i figured i could get her infront to take most of the damage. We attack the raptors and i quickly realize my mistake as Pawflaw is loosing health rapidly, i try to run and set him passive but my rex is too slow and the raptors are still following, i then try and get off my rex to get on Pawflaw only from him to die the second i mount. I killed the alpha raptors and realized my greatest mount is gone once again. I tamed up the female and plan to have a baby from her and name it Pawflaw in honor of the two greatest Thylacleos i have ever met. Rip my dear Pawflaw.

Player: Urgh oh well.

Ark dev: Do u like strolling down the beach?
Player: Yes…
“You were robbed! Ascended sniper rifle!”
“You were robbed! 100 Narcotics!”
“You were robbed! Tek Replicator!”
Player: Hey, COME BACK U LITTLE RASCAL!
Ark dev: U like caves?
Player: Oh for goodness sake…
“You were killed by a level 485 Megalania!”
Player: I’VE HAD ENOUGH
“Your raft was destroyed by a Leedsichthys!”
*deletes game*
Player: Ima go back to old game…
*three weeks later*
Random friend: Hey, u play the new Ultimate Edition?
