What are tips for thylacoleo? Tips and strategies for thylacoleo in ARK: Survival Ascended & Evolved.
I would recommend bringing a tapejara what you do is take a hit the tyhla down and latch on the tree and shot it with your crossbow when it star running follow the thyla and get of your tapejara laid in to him until it knocked out did I mentioned that the tapejara may die
They don’t collect thatch 😀
If you want to avoid it fly above the trees so it cant violate you, the redwood montain is a safe place to look for them
I think this amazing creature is not on mobile cuz I've been looking for it in redwoods and i cant find one
A solitary yet powerful hunter not cooperating with any other species such as how direwolf, terror bird, sabertooth and daeodon coop together it’s still vicious and deadly if anything comes near but won’t mess with a rex although it can probably kill anything the size or smaller than a carnotaurus. (Scorched earth information)
Okay so hello guys
I can tell you how i tamed one my first time
So,
1. Take your pteranodon (that you not afraid to loose) and go to the forest. Fly not so high, so you can see that things chilling on trees. And looking for them with your spyglass. But be carefull!
2.Build a trap near forest, or on your base, if it nearly, so make it on base
3.When you found one that you want to tame, take your agrent or wywern. If your base not nearly forest, so take both flyers before operation.
4. With your rifle knock it down and pick thyla up with flyer.
5. Bring it to the trap and throw down.
Perfect! Knock kitty out and tame with roast lamb or kibble.
Good luck! :)
I was flying round the redwood with a quetz when I found a pteranodon being attacked. I looked closer and saw something that looked like a sabertooth ( I was far away ) I go closer and pick it up. As I do, I got damaged and had the bleed effect I flew as fast as I could to a safer place with no carnos and dropped it. I flew my quetz behind a rock further away from when I dropped it. I went to go find her and I get attacked by another. I had god mode on so I knew I was safe. I knocked them out and fed them meat and now I have two healthy female thylacoleos. Now I'm trying to find a male one to name it Leo and also breed it to get mutations hope it helped!!
I tamed one by placing small bear traps down, and shooting the thyla with a long neck equipped with a tranq dart it will come to you but will get stuck in the trap. Then shoot it in da face with tranqs.
I was expecting the Thyla to jump over it, so I built a trap I use for my Medium-Large dinos. 3x3 with 3 walls high, but since it doesn’t jump, feel free to use a 2x2 (This is my first thyla). It’s * L I T E R A L L Y * a free tame. Just pop it up into the trap with ramps, a wyvern, argy, ect, and its jump that simple.
They can climb trees so look out while your in the red woods or you’ll get pinned.
If you are looking for a thylacoleo then when you are in the redwoods I would try to stay above the trees, because they basically climb the trees and hangout there. So if your looking for one be caustics.🙂
Never underestimate how far here creatures can jump ...
If you are playing a PVE server build a pillar pen and set bear traps in it then shoot at it from a distance with tranq darts and bait it into the pen
Beware for they are dangerous but if you can knock it out and tame one they are awesome
use large bear traps and put them in a line and back up each time it get loose
They can be picked up with quetzal so grabbing them and taking them to a pen is simple. Make sure you walls are a good 4 or higher, this cat is probably twice the size (if not more) of the sabertooth.
Use Titanoboa Kibble, even if it is level 1, just do it
It did hit like a truck when mate boosted
