Thorny Dragons are defensive and have a small aggro radius, so keeping your distance or running past them is often safest. If you must fight or tame one, use a ledge or sturdy tank creature to avoid their torpor-inducing spines, keep a shield ready, and watch for nearby pack members. During taming, space out your shots to let torpor rise safely.
