this thing is so big compared to you so never try to kill or nock it out in open areas. Always make a stone trap with doorframes, and shoot it with tranq arrow, also the saddle opens in level 68

Okay so get one or two large bear traps and put them down shoot it with tranqs then it will come toward you. Also try to hit it first not it hit you first. Lure it into the large bear trap, once it breaks the first one quickly put down the second not before or it will avoid it took me five tranqs for a lvl 4

Level 5 takes longer to tame then a level 20 rex on official 😡

It’s almost impossible to find a high level one in ASA and even if you do they are an absolute menace as far as guzzling narcotics and eating everything in your pantry and fridge. Bring tons of narcotics and prepare to find nothing or die to a theri that will casually tickle its way through metal traps like a ghost just to cleanse you of your soul, your Dino’s, and everything you have and ever will hold dear.

The easy way to tame on of these: The 2 Easiest ways to tame.

Way 1:

What to pack for each way: (Both way one and 2)

•1 Crossbow or Longneck rifle

•100 - 200 tranq arrows just to be safe or 50-100 tranq darts (You can do less but not recommend)

•200-300 narcotics (You can pack less but the minimum is 70)

•Depending if it’s a low level or not 200-400 berries or 20-50 of it’s preferred kibble

Way 2 exclusive items to tame with: (trap method)

•15 stone foundations

•about 10-15 stone doorways

•Dinosaur gateway

How to tame on a cliff side:

Equip the longneck rifle or crossbow

Aim it at the theri

Shoot until unconscious

Feed narcotics and berries or kibble until tamed

How to tame on a flat surface:

Put all the stone foundations down (If it’s too small craft more)

Put the doorways down on the foundation

Then, put the gateway down

Lure the theri in (be careful theris are fast)

Close the gateway, knock it out and feed it narcotics and kibble or berries until it’s tamed.

Don’t mess with these guys, they will be sure to one hit you and your dinos. You cannot win without your bow,arrows and the high ground!

These guys torpor drop FAST. I literally just used 250 biotoxin to tame a level 18 one. When taming theris, always bring atleast quadruple what dododex says.

A level 25 has 2k torpor and loses about 8torpor per second

High ground. Cliffs. No more no less. Same strategy with sarcos and spinos. High ground is your best friend.

He probably a menace chicken. I found one near beach on right side, I knockout him with some distance and high ground. Also don't forget mejoberry or other preferred food, He Needs More Than 70 Narco Or Bio Toxin. But If You Have Soothing Balm Just Use It On This Chicken Menace which is 10x or I can say will make the tame a bit faster... But don't leave it just like that because The Drain Torpor was faster, Keep Fed it with narco and wait till he eats few Berry/crops then Walla! You got therizi... But if you don't have Soothing Balm.... Yeah... He probably gonna EAT a lot of your narcotic or bio toxin than The Berry

Find a therizino and then knock it out don’t use regular berries use stimberry if you don’t have exceptional kibble stimberry don’t fill the hunger which is great because it will eat nonstop the process maybe slow the stimeberry will cause it to stop the hungerbar and keep eating and use around 50-150 narcotics and 700-900 stimberrys they can be collected in bushes with a parasaur or a trice any berry gatherer

Theras are annoying as heck when your low level. There are 2 ways to get rid of them. Tame them or kill them. To kill them, a shotgun is all that is needed. To tame them, build a trap or hide on a rock. The trap should have foundations in a 2 by 3/3 by 2. Build out of stone. Then as the walls do either doorways or window. You need at least 1 doorway. The side 2 wide, put ramps. Then simply get the thera to chase you and run into the trap, then walk out the doorway. You can put a door on it so dilos and stuff cant ome and ruin your taming effectiveness. Then shoot through the doorways or windows until the thera is knocked out. You can even use this as a trap to kill one.

(how to tame)

What do you need:

- 3x large bear trap

- 30 (or more) tranq arrows

- crossbow

- 100x narco

- 500x narcoberry

- 100x biotoxin

- 100x longrass (or other)

How to tame in steps:

- find a theri

- place all traps in a row that way, so when you'll hit him he will run at it (it should Look like this:

Theri - > OOO you)

- shot a theri that way, so he will stuck in first trap

- shot a theri with more Arrows

- when its sleeping give longrass and sleeping stuff

- watch carefully and be sure it wont wake up (drain torpor is high, it will awake quickly)

- Good Job! You own a theri. Now take it home.

When your taming them I find they like to run away even when they aren’t torpor running. Meaning that if your on say a rock, it’s best to just wait for it for a little bit because it might come running back. They are very sneaky tickle chickens and they will do anything they can to murder you.

I wouldn’t recommend berries to tame they will work but you will need many narcotics to keep it asleep. It is definitely worth the time to tame they are powerfull mounts and are great at gathering wood and fighting the dragon boss
