Tip: use a wood trap if you don't have a stone trap (surprising if you're trying to tame one at that level) also shoot fast so he knocks out before he breaks the trap

You don't even need a trap for it it is very very slow you go to the high ground and shoot it with tranq arrows or tranqulizer dart it will easily knock down but you have to give him like 200 bio toxin because it will wake up very very fast

Really high rock, two crossbows, about 120 arrows. They have this juke where they pretend to run away and the moment you hop down to chase they will come running back to attack. Would recommend high movement.

Sit on the back of a high level thyla and lazer it with tanks or shocking tanks trust me this is the easiest way to knock these monsters out

I would recommend going to the green obolisk to know I one out! If you have an Argentavis, definitely bring that, also be sure it has high health/melee damage, because there are lots of theris at the obolisk, and if you really want that theri ya got, then ya might just wanna kill off some of the others before they kill you.

Also, if you are on mobile, swipe down to collect berries/ wood and swipe up to do the theri’s 2nd attack!

If you want to tame do this(without any trap)

1.you must need 20-30 tranq arrows,50 narcotics,100 berries

2.stand on a mountain and shoot at it

3.it will went down and feed it berries

4.give narcotics (of needed)

For example you are taming theri on red obli island bring theri to the beach and stand on the stone platform above knock it and then put some narcotics balm and berries or rock carrot etc,.You have a theri now

Just tamed on today, got on top of my stone house and shot it, it eventually fell asleep then the hard part happened I took out a moschops and was gathering narcos and make norcotics I did that for like 2 hours and now I have one tomorrow it will probably be gone cause my tribe mates are stupid. Up if you think I should get another.

If you see that killer turkey run away or get a tanky tame or that turkey will obliterate you just hide behind any carnivore

How to tame at level 31

get a large bear trap and 4 wood billboards

Place 3 wood billboards adjacent but turn them 90 degrees for each bill board like a unfinished box and place the bear trap at the far side of the trap from the opening and lead the theri into the bear trap and then place a billboard behind them and shoot em a bunch

Climb on a huge stone near it and use tranq arrows

Lol one therizinosaurus looks exactly like a peacock, LITERALLY just tamed it and it’s absolutely beautiful 🤩. Green back, blue main body color, and white underside. AAAAAHAHA. And the real tip, these guys are ultimate wood collectors and powerful powerhouses on high level. They can defeat alpha raptors if strong enough with the level recommended 30-40, unless if you guys used it on melee damage and health then probably lower, recommended on the TRAPPING way with stone structures (2 by 2 foundation, 2 walls high that surrounds the foundation , 4 wood ramps on one side for it to get trapped, and make sure to add a single door doorway on the bottom of one side for you to escape. I guess you can have any tame with you on passive near you but not to close to you, and put EVERYTHING in the tame and put your tame tall rock or cliff (make sure it’s safe!!) so you don’t have to retrieve your stuff in case it kills you trying to lead it in the trap. After trapping in any strategy to get it in, whistle your tame to you get your tranqs and start taking it out! I think you know what to do after it’s knocked out. Acctually tamed one lvl 7 male and that lvl 7 male that was THE SAME THERA THAT ATTACKED MY BASE and hes nameles so please NAME IDEAS

Use a large bear trap to get it stuck and just start spamming those arrows, these guys are great at damaging threats and can get you wood and thatch for building

Make a 3x3 stone floor surrounded with 2*height double door frame. This will make a cage that you can enter and get out simply but not the therizino. Then add some rams/stairs leading into the cage. Lure the therizino into the cage and knock it out easily with tranquil arrow. This cage trap can be built on a raft as well.

I see a lot of debates on how to tame this creature, so here’s my way(the most mediocre ark player)

6 STONE triangle foundations

12 Stone doorframes

2 Wooden Ramps

A LOT of Narcotics and i mean a LOT, like you could drown Colonel Sanders’ Wet Dream in it(its a giant chicken.. i’m not funny)

A fat pair of balls

Hide sleeping bag JUST IN CASE

Find a Therizinosaurus AND MAKE SURE YOUR TAME ISNT NEAR IT, these things are like spiders, you turn your back on them for one second and they disappear like a horror movie stereotype, Set the foundations up in a hexagon shape and place 2 doorframes on each side, add 2 ramps on one side(this’ll be used to get the Theri into the trap)..and set a hide sleeping bag close to the trap incase you need it

This step takes a big pair of balls, fire at the Theri and let it chase you, run up the ramp and make sure the Theri does too, run out the doorframes and then the Theri will fall into the trap.

Knock it out then stuff it’s inventory with extraordinary kibble and narcotics, don’t leave it there or else it’ll wake up because Wildcard wants us to suffer

Name your new Therizino! They’re great harvesting but they’re great for killing the Dragon, pair them up with Rock Elementals and Deinonychus and watch them shred that guy to bits and pieces

I saw alot of people complaining about the fact theri's being aggresive even tho it eats berries so to answer ur question i will say that u should go and stand in front of a wild elephant (which eats grass, herbs, ferns, leafs etc if u didn't know) and see wat happens and then u will know why a berry eating dino is aggressive against u

Yesterday I tamed a 130 with a desmodus and tranq arrows with a crossbow fed it crops and the Elixir.

The starve timer was off 2x event, I ended up only getting 64% effectiveness and it took waaay more food and an additional 20 minutes to tame. Used all but 1 kibble I needed cause I was short 1

(For mobile) Tamed a level 405. How? Grinder amber early game and bought the cooking station. Got ready a soothing balm until I have the right equipment. The equipment is either compound bow—get a ascended one from quest, with toxicant arrows, or a longneck rifle with shocking tranq darts. Make accordingly following the demands shown in this app and get 6 megalosaurus kibble from the cooking station. Get around 5 large bear traps.
