Journey: Chapter 21

There above Nightfall trying to eat him, was Crimson. Forest was excited to see her and just about to hug her, but then he realized fully that she was trying to eat Nightfall.

“Crimson, stop!!! Crimson!!!!” Forest yelled trying to get her attention, she looked over and saw him and pinned Nightfall with her hands.

“Quit coming back!!!!! You’re not real!!! You are a Mirage!!! Every time I see you, you are either are in the far distance calling my name or you’re standing there while I try to hunt, and I’m not falling for you, Spark or Nyx anymore. I am completely ignoring the mirage of Rust so please leave me in peace. I just want something to eat, I haven’t found water or food for three days!!!” Crimson yelled back.

Forest looked down at Nightfall, but all he heard coming out of his mouth was saying something, but it sounded like he was speaking fish.

“Quit your screaming, you bird brain!!! What are you even speaking!!!!” Crimson yelled at Nightfall, Nightfall glared at her and slowly tried to turn his head over towards Forest,

“Forest… Can you please.. tell your friend… that she’s… choking me.. I can barely… speak Coelacanth…” Nightfall gurgled out as Crimson held his throat with her hand.

Crimson eyes went wide and she looked over at Forest and then back at Nightfall “You can see my Mirage??” Crimson said, Nightfall continued to glare at her and gurgled something.

“Oh, well then what is Forest?!” Crimson snapped,

“Drake” Nightfall said wheezing.

“What type of drake?” Crimson asked,

“Do you.. Do you… do you think I would use drake.. for anything… other.. than a ROCK DRAKE.” Nightfall gurgled.

Crimson turned and lunged at Forest, tackling him to the ground. Nightfall wheezed as he breathed in air and refilled his lungs.

“Forest!!!!! Where have you been here?! Have you ran into any of the others!? Who th-”

“Woah. I just got here myself.” Forest said cutting off Crimson.

“How did you just get here, it’s been nearly three days!! Where have you been?!” Crimson said.

“It’s a long story, but before I tell you. Do you want something to eat with it with some water?” Forest said to Crimson, and her eyes widened with joy.
