The Tapejara is a skittish creature best approached cautiously from a distance while it is landed, then immobilized with a bola or trap. Use tranquilizer darts carefully to knock it unconscious without killing it, protect it from threats, and feed it meat while monitoring its torpor until tamed. As a mount, it offers exceptional maneuverability, including strafing, backward flight, and wall or ceiling perching, while passenger seats and carrying ability support scouting, construction, aerial taming, transport, and rescue.
