For Ark Mobile you CAN use weapons while riding it! dododex says you can’t but you are able to you just have to switch to a different seat that’s not rider if u can’t turn around fully pop on the very end by clicking the chair

How to use a Tapejara to tame animals in heavily (non redwood) forested areas in five simple steps.

1. Get a teammate a crossbow & a couple of grappling hooks

2. Get on your Tapejara & rise into the air & have your teammate grapple on to your Tapejara’s chest

3. Fly high enough to stay out of range of any predators and have your teammate walk trough the forest beneath you

4. Follow your teammate through the forest & wait for them to attract the attention of a predator

5. Once your teammate has attracted the attention of a predator have your teammate real themselves off the ground and lower the predator to a safe taming area

(This strategy can also be used for mining in dangerous areas or any other situation where a quick escape would be handy)

Great dino for builders because it's easy maneuverability in the air makes constructing tall buildings a breeze

When stamina is running low, hop onto a passenger seat and your tapejara will regain its stamina very quickly in midair.

They can cling on walls but don’t gain stamina

They are good at tameing all creatures

In genesis you find these in bog biome and if you are on pc then it's a must tame because you can board the passenger seat then whistle it forward (period key) and you have a flyer on genesis hope this helps?

TIPP:

You all know this if you stand on the tapejaras back and it flyies down. I found a solution for the this. All you have to do is making the "follow me" whisle while you are standing on their back.

Tapejaras are v good for Wyvern egg stealing. They are very fast and if you level stam and health they are perfect for stealing eggs. I used an X-Tapejara on Rag, spent a full fifteen minutes flying around, didn’t get any good eggs, but evaded Wyverns easily

Tame up and use to tame aggressive creatures from the safety of a cliff face

Me and my bud use these when griffin hunting he shoots i drive and have arguments over who left or right its on other than that great to shoot down flying creatures while in air.

Good as a straight up grade from the pteranodon but difficult to tame

Im submitting this after a raid but i used a tapejara for carrying loot but anyways in my server there is lots of plant x everywhere beachs,jungle,etc in the swamp where i live there are a ton so i have to get around on a flier or my bary named onyx but my tape is a good van for metal so I go to the mountain near the swamp on the island its the one with a lot of griffens but also tons of plant x and avoid the plant x by going backwards or sideways overall great for many uses 9/10

They can fly backwards, hope this helps

In solo mode, you can regain stamina mid air by changing seat. It works on mobile

They can land on walls and ceilings, While you are landed on either you can shoot ranged weapons.... you can also use melee but it's terrible...

If your on the ground and close enough to a small enough creature and you press attack it will swallow it whole. It doesn’t show tho. -Rosy (PS I’ve improved a ton lol. Screw the pachy )

Use this thing to knock your quetzals and whatever else. You can have a rider on the back with a longneck and tranq darts and tame whatever the hell you want. Very good game for getting other flyers.

(Scorched Earth) If you find one of these beauties you can get a friend to tag along and get wyvern milk not problem.
