Most people don't actually know BUT you can get a tapejara to latch onto Trees (Mature redwoods and other big trees i think, Maybe cliffs too idk) to do this on Mobile you have to swipe up/down and for PC(Space) and console (A/X), hope this helps

These things are great for stealing wyvern/dienonychus eggs because of their ability to hang on walls,they can just sit on the wall until you can reach a Egg.

TIPP:

Don't jump while they are knocked or you will get stuck in their head. I know, sounds stupid but it happened to me twice!

Good for two person tames. Just get a harpoon launcher with spear bolts and BOOM! Now you can tame large dinos.😁

It's perfect for recon as it can cling to trees, fly omnidirectionally and can carry more than one person. It's definitely a must have tame.

It is AMAZING!! It can latch onto the side of structures, and walk on water!! I was curious if I would fall off when touching water, instead I actually rode/walked! It is found near the green obelisk. Wear Gillis suit use bola and tranq darts to knock out.

Very useful for moving with feiend. The saddle alone hold two people then grab 3rd friend with claws. Lvl up stamina and weight and u can us 2 friends at one with a lot of arrows to knock out other Dino's. Only problem is be careful to find one. They fly away and fast when they see u.

If you like flying around for drips bring scuba flippers and you can hover so close to the water you can hop off and get underwater drops and easily get back on

9/10 one of my favourite flying mounts. I go everywhere with mine, scouting and getting some stuff. The control is so satisfying and better instead of the other flying mounts that you have to look here to go there all that shit. Level up weight and stamina, take it wherever. Downside is that it can't pick up many things. I also used mine to tame stuff, using it to go to places faster and for a getaway. I used the solo Tapejara strategy to tame a Quetzal!

tired of seeing low lvl quetzals? then grab about 200% movement speed some sham and rest damage.. with the ability to strafe in any direction. you can easily keep up with the quetzal after being hit, and trying to escape. works great for me, even though they are not meant for damage, it's easier then using an argentavis to kill low lvl quetzals. don't need any health into it either for the quetzal doesn't attack you.

U can hang on the underside of ceilings too, just try it a few times until u get it. DTGM

Right click allows then to trap onto high peeks and get stamina. Be careful though, if you jump off it goes down to the ground and lands.
