If you want a Quetz game this thing you can get 3 seats sit the the second whistle to target quetz and make sure the whistle thing is always there on Mobile also cause you can switch seats you can still spend time flying around so once you knock out the quetz whistle passive enter front seat fly down and tame your new quetz!! >warning if your tapejara is to fast it will kill quetz< HOPE THIS HELPED YOU!! >sorry for caps..<

You basically have infinite stamina with these guys. When low on stamina, Hop into the passenger seat and let it regen. You almost never have to land

These guys are the closest to a pterodactyl in scorched earth so you can get wyvern eggs btw dont use moths to yet eggs there ti slow.

I tamed my today. I named it Yutu. It’s pretty much a made up name but I don’t care. I love Yutu so much! She can fly very fast and. I can stand on her too! She can land on the redwood tree. I also ran into a Pack of spinos. But Yutu lured them while I stabbed them to death with my acsendant sword. My Tapejara didn’t die and I was barely injured! Love you Yutu ☺️

If you are ever scouting out a base under a cliff side perfect tame to latch on under and scope out. Just watch out for turrets

If you buff up stamina, speed, and damage, you got a a Dino that can solo Gigas, carry guys to a battle or raid, or a getaway dino.

Ride on it with another tribe mate so that you can fly and your tribe mate can possibly tame the quetz

They gain stamina when latched onto the side of a cliff. Especially useful on SE as they will even regen Stam this way during a sandstorm

A fairly decent flying mount, certainly better than a petrodon

The Tapejara has a lot of general utility value when it comes to taming as well as building, however it's true value is PvP once it has the tek Tapejara saddle

The ultimate spy-bird it is rather fast cling on to trees and carry a gunner if you want to assassinate someone

See, I love the Tapejara, one of the best looking dinos imo but its not worth getting unless out of enjoyment. (single player experience)

Yes they're very maneuverable (flies up, down, side to side and backwards), good stam, good weight and damage too. I just HATE how the devs decided to half their speed when tamed.

Worst yet, the perk of being able to shoot from its back is only available for passengers or the rider when u land on the side of an area BUT the Tapejara ONLY FRONTS UPWARDS. As you know, You only have a 180 degree radius when riding a dino and you hold something so that means you can NOT shoot downwards if you are trying to tame or kill something with a range weapon. You're better off with a griffin (and no they're not hard to tame as you think they are. Its easy af with the proper trap which is also very easy to build)

Thats all I have to say about the Tapejara, awesome dino but not a useful one.

This thing will only come in handy while in multiplayer (unless you use ptes as some kind of cargo) they do the exact same thing as a pterodactyl except they have more health and more weith, but in multiplayer you can use one of these to transport up to 4 players at once in the sky, 3 on the saddle and one getting carried. Do not tame it in single player, not worth it.

How do you keep this flyer in the air when you switch seats, I’m on mobile and the second I switch seats my tapejara instantly looks for a place to land, no matter which passenger seat I am in. Like if this is happing to you too please.
