credit to my friend for this idea- RARE FLOWERS. Get on a flying mount and eat rare flowers to get it to chase you into a trap. makes taming these little pricks a thousand times easier (though still a bit tricky)

Best way to take is eat rare flowers so it follows you and lead into a trap, but wear armor so it won’t kill you

You should use either ghillie to sneak up on it or rare flowers to let it aggro on you, either way you should bola and try to use tranq darts as they are weak

Consume a rare flower so that the tapejara is after you, then you or ur tribe mate can easily bola it rather than it getting scared off

Use a flyer with a decent amount of health and agro it onto that flyer with rare flowers. Bring it to a safe place and bola it while it’s attacking your flyer. Knock it out with tranc arrows, and there you go.

Eat rare flowers and this thing will aggro to you! Then bola it and shoot with tranq arrows/darts and get your Tapejara!

Fly up to it, eat a rare flower then land. It will attack your mount giving you time to bolo it or tranq it. Electric tranq darts are best as it takes fewer hits.

This bird aggros toward rare flowers, you may be able to Bola it while it's pissed, just watch for other dinos when consuming the rare flowers.

If you eat rare flowers, tapejaras will attack you. Best way to tame is to lead it into a pen and then tranq it.

You are able to solo tame it by eatinf rare flowers so it rages on you land and knock it out or bola it... be careful of all the other animals which will attack you if in range.

To tame use a pterodactyl then eat rare flowers by it, Then when it attacks you bola and tranq.

If your a server just see if you can get an egg off someone else. That's what my tribe did.

Use rare flowers to kite it into a trap, this will make taming it almost effortless. In my opinion the best mount for solo taming.

DODODEX HAS AN ERROR! It is affected by bola and also lasso! Please bump to fix this mistake!

Both of these are AMAZING for taming your new tap. Bola stops him from getting away and since you only need like three tranqs, you're gold. Then grab your Equus and saddle and drag him back to safety, instead of treating him like a mini quetzal and walking off the perimeter :)
