2 Times I found tapejaras rare spawn in my area on the map I’m playing both times bola then crossbow tranqs but they died really quick from the shots

I tamed my today. I named it Yutu. It’s pretty much a made up name but I don’t care. I love Yutu so much! She can fly very fast and. I can stand on her too! She can land on the redwood tree. I also ran into a Pack of spinos. But Yutu lured them while I stabbed them to death with my acsendant sword. My Tapejara didn’t die and I was barely injured! Love you Yutu ☺️

Use tranq darts not tranq arrows

Isolate it and eat a rare flower to aggrieved, then bola and tranq for an easy tame.

Crossbow with grappling hook from a distance in case you spook it that way you can reel yourself in close and bola it with your hotkeys for a quick take down. Just make sure to throw another bola after 1 or 2 shots to keep it down.

Use rare flowers, the scent will Agro the tape to you. Making for an easy bola!

Eat rare flowers so it will aggro on you instead of fleeing, otherwise it will fly VERY high and is impossible to tame without a flying mount. If you need rare flowers raid casteroide dams. Put all tames on passive since it might try to attack your other tames after eating a rare flower

Just use rare flowers to make a follow you into a trap then knock it out

Find a Tapejara and get it stuck in some trees and them tranq it and tame in peace watch out for predators

All you need to knock it out is a bola and a wooden bat. I just got close enough, and when it noticed me I threw the bola. Just hit it with the bat until it is unconscious and feed it fish. I used about ten narcotics and 25 fish. The one I found was only level two though.

Start swinging your bola before you approach. Sneak from the back and use low damage tanqs

Bullsh*t loses all that speed when tamed like what the heck WildCard.

Enter extinction with pteranadon, fly around the building and look for landed high levels.

Just use rare flowers to get it to follow you then fly it into a trap or your base then use a longneck to knock it

Hey it is a pretty consuming game that takes a wile so be prepared

After taming make sure that you level up the weights and stamina because those two sucks at low level pteronodon

Super easy with bola. He can climb trees aswell

Place gates into his space as soon as he freaks out. That way u trapped him!

If you’re having trouble with this guy I recommend killing one and taking the implant out. If you’re in solo then just build a base around the green resurrection point and revive in there to trap it. It costs 29 ancient amber though so make sure you have enough before you kill one or you’ll just run out of time.

If it is a small level, like a lvl 5, then go ahead and shoot it with a tranq dart in the head. If it is a high level, then go ahead and bola it then tranq it with darts.
