Hey I’m new to the tapejara and can somebody please tell me how to change seats mid air on tapejara please I play on PlayStation

When you go to knock one of these Doritos out, make sure to bola it first. Once you bola it, use trank arrows and shoot it. Once it is unconscious, put in what ever food it takes (meat or berries) then add narcotic berries in its inventory and keep adding a lot because I don’t know how fast the torpor goes down. Keep adding and collecting meat/berries for your Dorito.

If you have the revive platform, then just kill it and get her/his green glowing thing.

Build big room, then put the revive platform inside, then revive it, then tranquilize it and last step tame it

So I think I have a good idea to tame one of these:

1) Find your desired Tapejara (Wow, who would've guessed that step)

2) Eat a rare flower to get it to chase after you (Clear out the area if you don't want to deal with other creatures)

3) Use a harpoon gun with a net projectile to trap it and stop it from moving

4) Build a trap (anything you want) around it before it escapes (You have a minute so you should have enough time)

5) Knock out and tame your new best friend :)

Once you get a tek saddle, Tapejara shoots plasma.

You have to be pretty fast to do this you have to run

Up to it and quickly bola it and then tranq it

Don't get too close, they'll fly away and chasing them won't work, ya gotta sneak up, i recommend ghillie

I tamed my tape with one shot from asc bow and some prime no bolas flying creatures traps or the like

Genesis 2 has the net projectile. Shoot the Tapejara with the net projectile. Tranq out. The net projectile works on land and air Dinos, even when they are flying.

No net projectile? Eat rare flowers while on top of a tame set to passive. The Tapejara will attack you and the tame, jump off the tame and the Tape will continue to peck the tame. Now aim for the Tapejara and bola it. Now knock it out.

Once it is KO’d, build spike walls around it so that things like raptors and compys can’t eat it, as they have extremely low health after being knocked out. Keep in mind this will not always work, because some creatures, such as troodons can leap, meaning you should still keep an eye on it. I learned that the hard way. A got rid of the troodon with on 8.1 health left on my tapejara. I did manage to get him tamed up though!

I have never used a trap so I just carefully walked up to it and then I threw the bola and it was stuck so I hit it with tranq darts and it was knocked out

They are a really good flying dinosaur because it can hold up to 3 people on it witch is really good if you want to have your friends shooting off the back of it it’s also good for taming other dinosaurs if you have friends shooting at that dinosaur you’re trying to tame really good In my opinion 😀😀😀

So for some reason when I go try to land on a rock the tapejara falls down

Tapejara’s can fly backwards, left, and right without you having to turn your camera. Shifting also works when flying backwards on one.

This guy is great just bola him and tranq then when u take home he can hang upside down and he can fly like a helicopter. Pretty great just put all points into movement speed and stamina!

You can find these in the redwoods but it makes for a tough tame. Southeast isles on the river banks they are common and will often land.

(In mobile) If you encounter high level tapezara make sure you brought food enough to tame. If you knock out and ran out of food and go back home to get food and get back, you'll regret it afterwards.
