‘I spent what felt like years trying to find a tapejara and gave up but then I find a level 85 one while flying home and then it gets stuck in rocks, it took 3 in game days to tame it but now it my fav Dino!

If your trying to tame a tapejera you should make a set of ghille suit so it wont get spooked and try to bola if it is on the ground, but i still need find out how i knock em out in the air

Just wear ghillie suit bring like 50 narc arrows (just in case) 2 bolas and 30 raw prime meat or 10 kibble just in case also and badanoom a tapejara but beware it is slower than the pt so do not use use this as a transportation bird more like a carrier bird bcz it has weight like argy

They can land on walls and ceilings, While you are landed on either you can shoot ranged weapons.... you can also use melee but it's terrible...

I got one so easily. I just threw a bola at it and hammered it with tranq arrows. Boom piece of cake

Find one use rare flowers to a track it and to a cage !!

Tape jars is pretty easy to tame, used in some ways, such as Taming the useful quetzal, and is pretty hard to find. Aargh!

Easy to tame on mobile just find or wait for one to land and shoot with crossbow and tranq arrows but you should practice aim before taming so you dont miss alot and protect well after its down because it will be killed easily

They also spawn in rhe red woods near green ob near red ob and the the waterfall at west zone three

If your on the ground and close enough to a small enough creature and you press attack it will swallow it whole. It doesn’t show tho. -Rosy (PS I’ve improved a ton lol. Screw the pachy )

Use this thing to knock your quetzals and whatever else. You can have a rider on the back with a longneck and tranq darts and tame whatever the hell you want. Very good game for getting other flyers.

Bola it then slingshot it and then feed it

I would reccomend at least having a tribe mate or a quetzal with a platform saddle so you don’t have to wait for it to land.

By far the easiest way to tame is to grab a bola and clear the area of other animals.

Than consume a rare flower and the Tapejara with attack you instead of flying away. The have very, VERY low damage so you should be safe. Than just bola and knock out as normal.

While sitting in the back seat of this thing you can shoot that Meeks it easy to tame many flying creatures including quetzuel

Just shoot the dang thing in the head with a tranq dart/tranq arrow from a crossbow

If you chase it up too high, use an argy, put your argy on passive, charge at the tapejara and eat rare flowers to bring it back to the ground level for tame. One shot with a long rifle and shocking tranq dart will drop it.
