Best for taming creatures not for killing

Forget all that faffing about with bolas, flowers or traps - this has NEVER worked for me. Instead, grab a high powered longneck and just shoot tranqs from distance. A 580% long neck takes down a 140 tape with two tranq darts - but caution, you can easily kill a low level, no head shots!

The tapejara isn’t great in combat, but it’s a really great mount for transporting players since it has two seats for friends and one seat for the rider. The passengers can also use tools like crossbows, so your passengers can help tame other fliers like other tapejaras. Keep in mind that weight capacity can increase depending on the weight of the passengers and yourself (of course).

are these guys fast? hi im Ogre and im on mobile while on level 54. im planning to tame one of these guys and replace pretzel (PT) with it,i know the weight is good but the speed? cus ive never seen one.

Taps are op you can make them follow you and then get on and then you have infinite stamina when you move from seat to seat. You can also tame like every thing by activating the glitch and then shoot from the others seats

Up this so everyone’s live will be easy

If you don’t already know on mobile maybe other devices I don’t know you can go on one of the other seats and quickly whistle follow so he floats in the air so you can shoot whatever you want waaaaaay out of it’s range absolutely OP pls up if you found useful

So ur walk-in along the beach through some big rocks, fully expecting to be dinner soon when u stumble face to face with one of these around a blind corner. It spreads its big weird bat wings at u, makes a weird sound then u run away in terror! Found out it’s really more scared of u…

Tapejaras are best if ya wanna tame or kill gigas...hell gigas can do nothin to these fellas. No need to land just let Tapejara hover and you change seat and fire away. I tamed 4 gigas because of these wonderful creatures.

Eat a rare flower to get it aggressive towards you so it doesn't run away. Just make sure that no other creatures are near.

Some people say this things torpor goes down fast but it dose not. I goes down so slow at least it dose on mobile.

use wild flowers (i think) and tranq it feed it stuff and boom there you go you now have a i forgor

These things kill Rexs! They have a great attack speed and damage, great for traveling this is the only Dino I have zero complaints about as a mount

If you don’t want to do the bola strat and want a bit more adventure, here’s my idea: take a grappling hook and latch onto it, then switch to another crossbow or longneck with tranq rounds, then open fire, and pray that you don’t fall into the jaws of a hungry Spino or Rex

How to tame, simple guide

1. Find one

2. Bola from a distance

3. Pump any type of traq into it

4. Feed it prime meat or if you don’t have it, regular meat

5. You have a new flyer! Enjoy!

Don’t listen to the person that said use a saddled flying creature they will fly away if they see you or any ANY creature your using

I finally tamed it today and I feel it's rare I missed it 5 times this is my 6th try and got it 150 level before tame he somehow always get miss and run away and vanish

I have 2 argentives 1 quatzeal and 5 Petradon and 1 griffin I get respect cause of the name feature I put ign before entering the world

this is my luckiest tapejara high level according to me most I seen was level 10 to 40 bola worked this time

if he ran this time I would kill it and revived it saving embers and tame it

1. Make a trap for flying creature.(With 4 stone Dino Gate Frames)

2. Eat a Rare Flower when you near Tapejara.(Make sure there are no any creature around)

3.When you eat the Rare Flower Tapejara comes to attack you(This is effective for several seconds). Then you can trap it and tame it.

(Wear a ghillie kit to get close to it)
